If you're reading this article, chances are the Roblox app or website isn't working for you right now (same here) and you're wondering why—is this an internal issue with your PC or phone, or is Roblox experiencing a global server outage that's out of your control? More often than not, the latter is the culprit, meaning that it's up to the tech wizards at Roblox to find the disruption and fix it as soon as possible. Even with this knowledge, however, you may still be wondering what exactly happened at Roblox HQ, and while I can't say for sure, I've detailed what I know in the log below.
Roblox Server Status History
Update May, 15, 2023 - 1:30pm CT
Players across the Roblox platform, including us at PGG, are experiencing error code 529 when attempting to join games. Roblox has yet to comment on the issue, but we will update this guide when the issue has been fixed.

As of Sept. 23, 8:30am CT, 2022, Roblox is operational and all services are back online!

Pro Game Guides is unable to access Roblox or connect to any games. We will be keeping an eye on Roblox to make sure we can update you when we are back online. Currently, when you go to the website, you get a "The service is unavailable" message. According to the Official Roblox Status website, Roblox has identified the issue and are actively working on it.
Update May 4, 2022 - 7pm CT
Roblox is down again on May 4, 2022, and they declared on their Official Roblox Status website that the outage is because of service disruption. They have stated on their Roblox Twitter account and have engineers fixing the problem as fast as possible. No timeframe was mentioned on when this outage will be resolved. The service has been down for about four hours. We will be keeping an eye on the situation and will be updating this article often.

As of Oct. 31, 18:45 CT, Roblox is operational and all services are back online!

According to the Roblox status Twitter account, the site is currently down for maintenance, and that they will announce when the servers are back up. No exact time or how long the maintenance will take was stated.

The engineers are working on a recovery process, and some users will start to get limited access. Even ifOct. 29t access, there's not much you'll be able to do until everything is operation one more, but it's progress, and hopefully, the wait is not much longer.

Roblox has some service functionality, but because the problem is still being widely fixed, these may not work as intended.

Roblox services have been affected, and over 3 million users can't log in. This includes everything from playing on the website, mobile app, and Xbox app. The Official Roblox Status website has classed this outage as a service disruption, and all engineers are investigating the issue to bring the servers back online.
