Rell Seas Guide (2026) — Everything We Know: Fruits, Races, Release Date & More

All the Rell Seas sneak peeks got me hyped!

We've added the latest RELL Seas info, including new sneak peek screenshots and videos.

Roblox RELL Seas is one of the most anticipated games on the platform — a massive open-world naval RPG developed by RELL Games and inspired by the One Piece anime. In this guide, we cover everything we know about Rell Seas ahead of its 2026 release, from God Fruits and Haki to races, ships, factions, bosses, and how to get into early testing.

What Is Rell Seas?

RELL Seas is an upcoming open-world action-adventure RPG on Roblox set in a vast oceanic world inspired by the One Piece universe. Players can sail across multiple seas, choose a faction (Pirates, Marines, or Bounty Hunters), find God Fruits, master Haki, build and customize ships, and engage in both solo and crew-based combat. The game is developed by RELL Games, the studio behind Shindo Life and Shinobi Life 2, and has been described by many in the community as the most ambitious Roblox pirate game ever made.

Unlike most One Piece-inspired Roblox games, Rell Seas is built around non-linear progression and genuine player freedom. There's no traditional level grind as you advance by doing activities in the world, and every playstyle has a valid path forward. If you want to compare notes on where it stands now, check out our Rell Seas vs Blox Fruits breakdown for more information.

Roblox RELL Seas: Everything We Know

RELL Games has been sharing sneak peeks and development updates on its RELL Games YouTube channel for years. Here's the full breakdown of every confirmed feature and mechanic in Rell Seas so far.

God Fruits (Devil Fruits)

Rell Seas' version of Devil Fruits are called God Fruits — rare items scattered across the seas that grant powerful supernatural abilities when consumed. Eating one permanently changes your moveset but makes you unable to swim, just like in One Piece. God Fruits are split into three main classes, each with specific subclasses:

ClassDescription
ParameciaYou can manipulate your body and the surrounding environment. It includes the Special Paramecia subclass.
LogiaYou get the ability to transform into an animal species or a hybrid form. Includes Mythical Zoan and Ancient Zoan subclasses for the rarest and most powerful transformations.
ZoanYou get the ability to transform into an animal species or hybrid form. Includes Mythical Zoan and Ancient Zoan subclasses for the rarest and most powerful transformations.

There are currently over 30 confirmed God Fruits in RELL Seas. Known fruits include:

  • Logia — Flame, Sand, Light, Magma, Ice, Lightning, Smoke, Darkness;
  • Paramecia — Paw, Bomb, Barrier, String, Gravity, Venom, Dough, Chop, Soul, Revive;
  • Zoan — Wolf, Falcon, Bison;
  • Mythical Zoan — Phoenix, Buddha, Yamato Kitsune. The full list will expand post-launch.

Crucially, there is no gacha system for obtaining God Fruits in Rell Seas. You'll need to explore the world and find them naturally — a major design decision that sets this game apart from most Roblox One Piece titles.

Haki

Haki is the counterweight to God Fruits in Rell Seas. Players can build entirely around Haki rather than fruits, or combine both for a hybrid playstyle. There are three types of Haki in Rell Seas, each with 5–6 equippable cards that define your specific Haki build:

Haki TypeDescription
Armament HakiCreates spiritual armor around the user. Key counter to Logia-type God Fruit users, who are otherwise invulnerable to physical attacks. Strong offensive and defensive applications.
Observation HakiGrants heightened senses and limited future sight. One confirmed card allows the user to successfully dodge up to 8 consecutive attacks.
Conqueror's HakiThe rarest type. Allows the user to intimidate and enforce their will on others. Not all players will have access to this.

The card system gives Haki builds genuine depth — you can mix cards from different Haki types to create a custom loadout tailored to your combat style. This is one of the biggest differences from similar Roblox anime RPGs, where Haki is typically a passive stat boost.

Rell Seas Combat System

Rell Seas combat sneak peak showing a player fighting with God Fruit abilities

Combat in Rell Seas is skill-based — timing, positioning, and stamina management are all critical. The parry system uses a stamina bar to prevent button-spamming, meaning you can't just hold block forever. This creates meaningful counterplay and rewards players who understand the mechanics.

You can combine God Fruits, Haki, weapons, and Fighting Styles in your build. Three confirmed Fighting Styles launching with the game are Fishman Karate, Electro, and Black Leg Style — with more expected to be added. Note that some fighting styles are race-locked: Minks naturally possess Electro, for example.

Underwater combat is also confirmed. Attacks slow down beneath the surface, and oxygen management becomes a survival mechanic. Small oxygen pockets spawn randomly near you to replenish, though they become less effective the deeper you dive. This system makes Fishman a notably strong race choice for deep-sea gameplay.

Rell Seas Races List

Your race is selected during character creation and has a meaningful impact on your playstyle, available fighting styles, and how NPC factions react to you. Here are all confirmed races in Rell Seas:

RaceTraits & Perks
HumanThe most common race in Rell Seas. Balanced abilities with no major weaknesses — the safest all-around pick for any build, including God Fruit or Haki-focused.
FishmanExtremely powerful in underwater environments. Best race for deep-sea exploration and for builds focused on Fishman Karate.
MinkNaturally possesses the Electro fighting style from the start. During a full moon, Minks can transform into Sulong form — a powerful combat state with dramatically increased stats.
SkypianConfirmed aerial movement advantages including extended air dashes and potentially limited flight — ideal for mobility-focused builds.

There are also rumors of additional races — such as Cyborg or Lunarian — that may not be available at character creation but could be obtainable through in-game progression later.

Rell Seas Factions

Choosing your faction is one of your most important decisions in Rell Seas. It determines your role in the world and shapes many of the quests, events, and social interactions available to you. The three playable factions are:

  • Pirates — Sail under your own banner, build a crew, plunder ships, and carve out a name on the high seas. The default path for most players.
  • Marines — Uphold order across the oceans, capture pirates, and imprison them in Hades Asylum (Rell Seas' Impel Down equivalent). Marines have exclusive access to the Asylum's elevator system and admiral-level content.
  • Bounty Hunters — Operate independently, tracking high-value targets for reward. A mercenary playstyle that bridges both sides.

Beyond these player factions, there are also 40 different NPC factions spread across the game's islands. Each has its own laws, principles, and character designs, and they appear during dynamic island events where you'll need to choose sides or stay neutral — your decisions affecting your faction standing and reputation.

Rell Seas Talents & Progression System

Rell Seas replaces the traditional Roblox RPG level-grind with a Talents system — you progress by actually doing things in the world rather than repeating the same quest loop. Every talent tree has a dedicated role, and crews benefit most when members specialize in different talents. Confirmed Talent trees include:

  • Navigator — Improves the ability to locate new islands and reach known destinations faster. Key for exploration-focused players.
  • Shipwright — Specializes in repairing your ship mid-battle and upgrading its components. An essential crew role in naval combat.
  • Cook — Prepares meals that provide stat buffs for your crew. Passive support role with active combat value.
  • Fisher — Masters the art of fishing across Rell Seas' many seas. Tied to the Fishing Dex completion system.

Characters also develop a grade (A through F, with A being the highest) and a reputation score that reflects their overall actions. A high enough reputation may make you a target — Marines might actively hunt you down, making reputation a genuine risk/reward mechanic rather than just a cosmetic number.

Ships, Sailing & Naval Combat

Rell Seas ship customization and sailing mechanics

Ships are central to everything in Rell Seas — travel, combat, and crew identity. The level of ship customization on offer goes well beyond what you'd find in comparable Roblox pirate games, covering hull shape and color, sail design, decorative items, flag design, and weapon loadouts. Think Sea of Thieves depth inside a Roblox anime RPG.

Naval combat has its own strategic system. Players can create weak points on an enemy ship by focusing cannon fire on one area, while the opposing crew's Shipwright works to repair those spots in real time. This creates genuine crew roles in PvP ship battles — not just "everyone fires cannons."

Submarines & Sea Depths

Rell Seas submarine used to explore the seven sea depths

There are seven Sea Depths in Rell Seas, each with unique ocean currents and marine life. Depths can be accessed in Sea Four and require either a Submarine or a coated ship to survive the pressure — a direct nod to One Piece's deep-sea lore. Even equipped correctly, staying too long in the deepest layers will eventually kill you, making depth diving a high-risk, high-reward activity.

Fishing

Fishing is a fully developed progression system in Rell Seas, tied to the Fisher talent tree. You'll need a fishing rod and bait to fish across the game's seas, with a goal of filling the Fishing Dex — a catalog of every catchable species. The mechanic mirrors Stardew Valley's fishing mini-game: keep the fish icon within a moving diamond until the bar fills to reel it in.

Rell Seas World & Exploration

Developer RELLsin (@CaribBros) confirmed on X that Rell Seas will launch with approximately 28–30 islands across two seas:

  • 17 Primary Islands — main story and quest hubs
  • 4 Secondary Islands — smaller locations with activities
  • 7 Underwater Islands — accessible only via Submarine or coated ship
  • Underwater Dungeons — details TBA

Additional seas — the game is planned to eventually have four in total — will be rolled out in post-launch updates as the world expands. Each island also features dynamic randomized events involving the game's 40 NPC factions, so no two visits to the same island are guaranteed to play out the same way.

Rell Seas Bosses

All confirmed Rell Seas bosses are listed below. Some can be unlocked as mounts once defeated. RELL Games has reworked several bosses multiple times during development — the Dragon, for instance, has had three to four full reworks — signaling a high-quality bar for boss design at launch.

Rell Seas Release Date — When Is It Coming Out?

There is still no confirmed Rell Seas release date. Despite RELLbad (@CaribVros) publicly promising in April 2025 that "RELL Seas RELEASE 2025," that window was missed — and the game is now widely expected to arrive sometime in 2026. The @RellSeasSneaks account subsequently posted that Rell Seas will now release in 2026.

The delays stem from the team's commitment to quality: Dragon has already been reworked three to four times, and the devs have redesigned several characters and bosses to ensure everything meets their standards. RELL Games continues to post development updates and sneak peeks to their YouTube channel, and Movie 3 — the next major feature showcase — is still to come. The Roblox game page has also been temporarily taken down, but is expected to return ahead of the Movie 3 release.
