In a game like Roblox Blox Fruits, the type of race you choose for your character determines your entire kit's ability and powers. Currently, there are six different race or clan types inside the game.
While all six races are great to play in storyline mode, some races, like the Shark or Angel, are good in both PVP and storyline mode. This guide provides an overview and explanation of our Roblox Blox Fruits race tiering.

All Races in Blox Fruits, Ranked
Though rarity plays a vital role, it is not always the case to rate races, as you also need to consider other factors like evolution, cost of upgrades, and PVP potential for ranking. Read the reasons below to know why each race ended up in the mentioned ranks.
Best S-tier Races
Shark is the best overall race in Blox Fruits. It has everything you need to be a top-tier player, from excellent damage reduction to unique perks like walking on water even after consuming a devil fruit. Combine the race with something like Buddha or Magma fruit to become a lethal player.
Best A-tier Races
All the below races are typically the best for quest and raid bosses but may fall a bit in terms of PVP capability compared to the S-Tier races.
Angel
If you like to move a lot during a fight, you should try to equip the Angel race. The race has fantastic abilities that enable you to fly and reposition during critical situations. The skill also excels against bosses, as you need to move a lot to dodge their attacks.
Cyborg
Cyborg features in the A-tier mainly due to his tanky Energy Core ability that can take quite a beating. Equip the race against teamers or players using high-damage fruits like Dough or String to have a fair chance.
Best B-tier Races
Target the following fruits if you have learned the basics of the game and want to move toward the PVP zone.
Human
Human is a powerful race if you can evolve past the V3 and V4 stage. Equip the race for its game-changing Last Resort ability obtained at V3 that scales your overall damage numbers depending on your amount of health left. Moreover, Human is the most easily obtainable race if you want to reroll at any instance.

Ghoul
Ghoul has a mix of everything from movement speed at night to extra defense/damage numbers. Maybe this bit of everything is why it does not shine in a particular aspect, making it a backup race for several players. Still, it's a solid race for beginners who want to mix skill stat appropriate for their level.
Best C-tier Races
C-tier races are for beginners trying to learn the various combat and movement mechanics in Blox Fruits. In this category, my only recommendation is Rabbit.
Rabbit is the best race for beginners due to its high movement speed. Use the ability to reposition yourself in a fight and learn to combat. The only weakness for Rabbit is that it is pretty basic compared to other races.
How to change your Race in Blox Fruit?
Races in Blox Fruit are assigned randomly to your character at the beginning of the game. Currently, there are three ways to change your race in the game.
- Using Robux: You can buy Robux from the game store to reroll your race.
- Visiting Norp: Norp is an NPC found in The Cafe landmark. You can pay him 3000 Fragments to change your race.
- Codes: You can change/reroll your race by using exclusive redeem codes from the developers. If you are not aware of any such code, you can visit our Blox fruit code article.
