Updated: April 1, 2026: Reworked the tier lists after the Moon Update (March 31, 2026), adding Moon Slayer Melee. Also provided relevant attributes and information regarding the above specs.
One of the most important choices you'll make in Sailor Piece is which weapon to use. With a wide variety of melee orbs (specs) and swords available, picking the wrong one can seriously slow your progress. Whether you're farming mobs, grinding boss fights, or competing in PvP, your weapon's damage scaling, AoE potential, and late-game viability all matter.
To help you make the right choice, we've put together a complete Sailor Piece Weapons tier list — split into two separate rankings: one for all melee specs (orbs) and one for all swords, including their rarities from Rare up to Mythical. Each weapon has been evaluated based on damage output, upgrade scaling, farming efficiency, boss fight performance, and PvP viability.

- S Tier (Meta) — The strongest weapons in the current patch. These offer top-tier damage output, excellent scaling with upgrades, and are viable in every game mode, including endgame boss farming and PvP. If you can get your hands on one, prioritize it.
- A Tier (Very Good) — Solid weapons that perform exceptionally well and are reliable choices for most players. They may fall slightly short of S Tier in raw damage or versatility, but are strong picks for both PvE and PvP content.
- B Tier (Decent) — Good weapons with clear use cases, particularly in mid-game progression and specific scenarios like wave clearing or sustained fights. They're worth using if you don't have access to higher-tier options yet.
- C Tier (Mid/Weak) — Below-average weapons that are primarily useful for newer players in early-game stages. Poor damage scaling means they fall off fast — replace them as soon as possible.
S Tier — Best Melee Specs (Orbs) in Sailor Piece
These are the strongest melee orbs in Sailor Piece right now. All five specs in S Tier offer exceptional late-game damage scaling, strong performance in both boss fights and farming, and are considered META picks in the current patch. Strongest Shinobi, added in the Massive Update, is arguably the strongest melee spec in the game thanks to its smooth animations, massive AoE, and devastating F Move. If you're looking for the best melee spec to invest in, start here.
| Melee Orb | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Moon Slayer | + Burst heavy skillset, ideal for boss farming and high HP stages. + Tons of mobility in every skill, can dash around freely, letting you dodge enemy skills as well. + Arguably, the highest burst DPS currently among all Melees. |
![]() Strongest Shinobi | + The top Melee spec of the current meta, added in the Massive update + Skillset comes with a balanced mix of AoE and Burst skills + Has the highest DPS across all Melee in terms of Damage |
![]() Corrupted Excalibur | + Huge AoE and iframes on skill effects, useful in PvP + F move has a strong burst effect, ideal for Boss fights + Arguably, one of the top Melees in the meta |
![]() ![]() Blessed Maiden | + One of the strongest melee specs in the meta + Smooth animations with massive AoE and devastating F Move - One of the hardest specs to obtain — requires extensive boss farming |
![]() Anos | + Deals extremely heavy damage with its abilities + Excellent scaling into late-game + Strong performance in both farming and boss fights |
![]() Gilgamesh | + Has abilities that deal consistent DPS output + Very effective against multiple enemies at once + Reliable choice for late-game progression |
![]() Strongest in History | + Has abilities that deal exceptional burst damage + Dominates against high-level bosses + Very strong overall damage output in any stage of the game |
![]() Strongest of Today | + Scales well with ability upgrades + Provides excellent combat utility and survivability + One of the strongest late-game specs available |
A Tier — Very Good Melee Specs
Madoka is a reliable all-rounder that scales well into the endgame and performs consistently in both PvP and boss encounters. It's a limited-time spec from the Valentine's event, so if you have it, it's a strong choice — but it sits just below the S Tier options in overall damage output.
| Melee Orb | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Madoka | + Damage output increases with upgrades + Performs consistently across PvP and boss fights + Great option for progressing toward end-game |
B Tier — Decent Melee Specs
B Tier specs are solid mid-game options, each with a specific niche. Qin Shi is ideal for sustained, long-duration fights but relies on summons for most of its damage — it's also one of the most accessible mid-game specs with manageable entry costs. Alucard is powerful if you can obtain it — its regeneration and ranged zoning make it a strong utility spec — but it's one of the hardest to unlock in the game.
| Melee Orb | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Alucard | + Has exceptional regeneration that improves survivability + Grants ranged zoning that is useful during boss fights - One of the hardest specs to obtain |
![]() Qin Shi | + Very strong spec for mid-game progression + Useful spec for sustained, long-duration fights - Relies heavily on summons for damage output |
C Tier — Weakest Melee Specs in Sailor Piece
C Tier specs are the weakest melee orbs currently available and are not recommended for serious endgame play. Sukuna has decent AoE and damage-over-time, but falls short of higher-tier specs and requires heavy grinding for diminishing returns. Gojo has some niche PvP use thanks to its mobility, but its overall DPS is too low to justify investing resources into it. Yuji has AoE and DPS on paper but lacks synergy with most builds. Combat is the default starter spec — easy to use but with very low damage scaling that makes it a liability past the first few hours.
| Melee Orb | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Sukuna | + Has high DPS with strong AoE and damage-over-time effects - Falls short of higher-tier melee specs in the current meta - Requires heavy grinding and materials to reach maximum potential |
![]() Gojo | + Useful spec in PvP, due to its mobility - Requires heavy investment for maximum potential - Lower overall DPS compared to higher-tier specs |
![]() Yuji | + Useful spec for PvE, due to AoE and high DPS - Lacks in comparison to other Melee Specs - Does not have good synergy with other components |
![]() Combat | + Easy to obtain and use for new players - Very low damage scaling - Quickly becomes ineffective past early progression |
Sailor Piece Sword Tier List — All Swords Ranked by Rarity and Performance
Swords in Sailor Piece range from common Rare drops all the way up to hard-to-get Mythical weapons. Unlike melee specs, swords have a visible rarity tier that reflects their base stats — but rarity alone doesn't tell the full story, as upgrade potential and ability damage matter just as much. Here's how every sword currently ranks in Sailor Piece.

S Tier — Best Swords in Sailor Piece
The S Tier swords are the most powerful weapons in Sailor Piece. Atomic and Abyssal Empress are the strongest swords in the current meta, added in the Massive Update — they come with low-cooldown abilities that deal devastating AoE damage, and have F Moves, which are one of the hardest-hitting attacks in the game, though they require an extremely long grind to obtain. Yamato, also added in the Huge Update, deals tremendous damage with long-reaching attacks and sits alongside True Manipulator at the very top. Sin of Pride has top-end damage with large area coverage and fiery attacks. Shadow Monarch remains elite with its raw ability damage and critical hit potential. Rimuru scales exceptionally well with upgrades and deals massive late-game damage, earning its place among the best.
| Sword | Rarity | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|---|
![]() Atomic | Mythical | + By far the strongest sword currently in the meta, with huge DPS. + Comes with a balanced kit, having both AoE and Burst skills, as well as Dashes. + Fairly easier to get, compared to other Mythical swords. Check out our guide to know more. |
![]() Abyssal Empress | Mythical | + One of the top meta swords, with high ATK speed and burst skills, ideal for PvP and Infinite Tower. + Has the best Burst skillset with mobility and decently high DPS compared to other mythical swords - Can only be obtained from grinding the Infinite Tower game mode, and bought from the Shop. |
![]() ![]() True Manipulator | Mythical | + One of the strongest swords in the meta with devastating AoE damage + Low-cooldown abilities allow high spam potential and combo follow-ups - One of the hardest swords to obtain — requires extensive questline and boss farming |
![]() ![]() Yamato | Mythical | + Deals tremendous damage with long-reaching attacks + Strong performance in both PvE and PvP - Requires completing Judgement Island content to obtain |
![]() ![]() Sin of Pride | Mythical | + Top-end damage with large area coverage and fiery attacks + Excellent performance in both boss fights and farming - Low drop rate from the Escanor boss makes it difficult to obtain |
![]() Shadow Monarch | Mythical | + Deals heavy critical damage capable of melting down bosses + Perfect end-game weapon that performs well in boss fights and PvP + Excellent raw ability damage and fast skill flow |
![]() Rimuru | Mythical | + Deals massive late-game damage due to its raw damage stats + The weapon scales extremely well with upgrades - Tougher Mastery path and slower animations compared to other S Tier swords |
A Tier — Very Good Swords in Sailor Piece
A Tier swords are excellent choices for players pushing into the late game. Ragna offers consistent DPS and excellent burst damage against bosses. Shadow remains the strongest practical PvE farming sword before you obtain the top S Tier weapons, offering exceptional endgame damage once fully upgraded. Ichigo is the most accessible Mythical, obtainable from multiple sources and reliable across all content. Aizen is also a strong pick — it's a prerequisite for True Aizen, performs well against bosses, and is versatile in both PvP and PvE.
| Sword | Rarity | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|---|
![]() Ragna | Mythical | + Provides consistent DPS due to its raw damage abilities + Deals excellent burst damage against bosses + Perfect sword for crawling into the late-game |
![]() Shadow | Mythical | + Deals exceptional end-game damage once fully upgraded + Best practical PvE farming sword before obtaining S Tier weapons - Outclassed by stronger Mythical swords in the current meta |
![]() Ichigo | Mythical | + Provides reliable performance in both PvE and boss fights + Can be obtained easily from multiple sources - Outclassed by the new S Tier swords in endgame content |
![]() Aizen | Mythical | + Performs well against bosses due to its raw damage output + Prerequisite for True Aizen — investing in Aizen pays off long-term - Doesn't perform well outside of Aizen-focused builds |
B Tier — Decent Swords
Jinwoo is a Mythical sword that deals solid burst damage and is viable for mid-game progression. However, it is outclassed by stronger Mythicals once you reach endgame content and should be upgraded as soon as a higher-tier sword becomes available.
| Sword | Rarity | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|---|
![]() Jinwoo | Mythical | + Deals solid burst damage due to its raw damage abilities + Viable weapon for mid-game progression - Outclassed by stronger Mythical swords in the late-game |
C Tier — Weakest Swords
C Tier swords should be replaced as soon as possible. Saber (Legendary) has solid early-game performance and is easy to obtain through boss drops and tickets, but it falls off significantly once stronger Mythical swords become available. Dark Blade (Epic) is easy to play and upgrade, but has poor scaling that makes it obsolete by mid-game. Katana is the weakest sword in the game — Rare rarity, low damage output, and not viable beyond the earliest stages of progression.
| Sword | Rarity | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|---|
![]() Saber | Legendary | + Has strong early-game performance and is easy to obtain - Falls behind significantly in the late game - Should be replaced with a Mythical sword as soon as possible |
![]() Dark Blade | Epic | + Easy weapon to play and upgrade - Only good for the early game - Poor scaling makes it obsolete quickly |
![]() Katana | Rare | + Very easy to obtain early on - Low overall damage output - Not viable beyond early stages of the game |
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Atomic is currently the strongest sword in the Sailor Piece meta. Its devastating AoE abilities and low cooldowns make it the top pick for both boss fights and PvP in the current Massive Update patch.
Strongest Shinobi, Corrupted Excalibur, Blessed Maiden, Anos, and Gilgamesh are all S Tier and considered the best melee specs in Sailor Piece. Strongest Shinobi, added in the Massive Update, is widely regarded as the strongest overall thanks to its massive AoE and devastating F Move.
Ichigo is the best sword for beginners — it's a Mythical rarity weapon that can be obtained from multiple sources, making it far more accessible than Shadow or Shadow Monarch. It also performs reliably in both PvE grinding and boss fights, so it remains useful even as you progress.
For farming, Shadow remains one of the best practical swords for PvE grinding, while Strongest Shinobi is the best melee spec for wave clearing and mob farming thanks to its massive AoE and low cooldowns. At endgame, Atomic's huge AoE skills makes it the top farming sword overall.
Gojo has some niche value in PvP thanks to its mobility, but its overall DPS is lower than that of higher-tier specs, and it requires heavy investment to reach its potential. It sits in C Tier and is not recommended as a main spec unless you specifically enjoy its playstyle.
Only for the early game. Saber is a Legendary sword that's easy to obtain through boss drops and tickets, but it now sits in C Tier due to how far behind it falls compared to the Mythical swords available. Replace it as soon as you can obtain Ichigo, Aizen, or any of the S Tier swords.
Atomic is the best Mythical sword in Sailor Piece right now, followed by Abyssal Empress, True Manipulator, Yamato, Escanor, Shadow Monarch, and Rimuru. All seven are S Tier Mythical weapons, but Atomic leads due to its devastating AoE damage, low cooldowns, and currently the strongest F Move in the game.
