Only use the best ones!

In Weak Legacy 2, Breathing styles are special abilities that Demon Slayers use to fight against demons. However, not every Breathing style is worth unlocking, so I'll walk you through the Weak Legacy 2 Breathing tier list along with their locations to help you easily conquer your enemies.

Best Breathing Styles Tier List - Weak Legacy 2

There are currently 10 different Breathing styles available in the game, as per the Weak Legacy 2's Trello board. Below, I've listed all the best styles available in the game in a tier list format. I highly recommend using the ones I've placed in the A and S tiers and avoiding anything labeled as B and C tiers.

TierBreathing style
SSerpent, Sound
AWind, Mist, Thunder
BInsect, Water, Love
CFlame, Sun

S-Tier

  • Serpent: It's by far the most advanced and insane Breathing style of Weak Legacy 2 because of its ultimate abilities like Slithering Serpent and Coil Choke. Its primary ability, Slithering Serpent, allows your character to teleport to a new location and perform a sudden attack, dealing a whopping 1500 damage.
  • Sound: As the name suggests, this Breathing style allows you to use sound-based attacks and techniques to defeat demons. The best part is you get to use four different abilities: Cleavers, Roar, Sting Performance, and Musical Score, when this style is equipped.

A-Tier

  • Wind: This is one of the most balanced styles available in the game as it offers a decent combination of attacking and defensive abilities. I personally liked its Dust Whirlwind Cutter power which allows your character to dash forward and deal significant damage to demons using a sharp katana.
  • Mist: This particular style focuses on agility and deception, allowing you to confuse your opponents and strike with precision. So if you're someone who loves both offensive and defensive maneuvers, you should definitely get your hands on the Mist Breathing style.
  • Thunder: If you're looking for an alternative to the Serpent style, Thunder is a fantastic choice. Its Thunder God ability allows you to deal massive damage in an instant. Moreover, it's simple to unlock for just 1000 Yen. Therefore, if Serpent isn't available, Thunder is definitely worth considering in Weak Legacy 2.

B-Tier

  • Insect: A brand new breathing style in Weak Legacy 2 which is inspired by the character Shinobu Kocho from the original "Demon Slayer" series. However, I've placed this power under a weaker tier because of its low-damage moves such as Bee Sting and Caprice.
  • Water: The Water breathing style, as the name indicates, mimics the natural movements of water through its abilities. Yet, similar to the earlier style, it proves to be ineffective against stronger opponents, delivering only average damage of 100 HP, which is insufficient.
  • Love: If you're someone who loves the grinding part of Weak Legacy 2, then Love style is a decent pick. The best part is its fourth form Wildclaw isn't blockable at all but the low damage range is a huge drawback of this power.

C-Tier

  • Flame: I’ve noticed that Flame Breathing excels in large-scale attacks, which might be beneficial for group fights but is less practical for 1v1 situations. Furthermore, its 1000 Yen price tag makes it less cost-effective in the game.
  • Sun: While it's undoubtedly a useful breathing style, I've experienced game-breaking bugs and glitches, making it ineffective against opponents. According to reports, game developers are working on a Sun v2 rework to fix these problems. In the meantime, I highly recommend you steer clear of it.
