What Do the Tier Rankings Mean in Our Samsara Valley Hero Tier List?
In our Samsara Valley tier list, each tier is based on each hero's overall impact across damage, support, survivability, and late-game scaling. S Tier heroes dominate every stage of the game from early story through endgame modes, while C Tier heroes provide limited value that becomes obsolete quickly and should be replaced at the first opportunity.
| Tier | Meaning | Heroes |
|---|---|---|
| S | Meta-defining. Provides top-tier damage, healing, or buffs that hold up from early modes through the hardest late-game and PvP fights. | 10 |
| A | Excellent. Strong in most modes with solid damage or support value, though slightly outclassed by S Tier in fully optimized team compositions. | 10 |
| B | Solid. Useful in early-to-mid game but lacks the scaling or standout mechanics to remain competitive in late-game. | 6 |
| C | Below average. Provides limited value that is quickly outpaced by higher-tier heroes and should be replaced as soon as possible. | 4 |
Which Heroes Are S Tier in Samsara Valley?
| Hero & Role | Class | Why This Tier | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() Indra [Main DPS] | Assassin | Indra is the best progression hero in the game, dealing massive burst damage to enemies below a certain HP threshold and amplifying her output further through crit-on-hit mechanics. She also applies random debuffs that reduce enemy combat efficiency, making her consistently devastating against both standard enemies and tough late-game targets. | All Modes, Burst damage, late-game |
![]() Changxi [DPS] | Warrior | Changxi deals heavy damage to front-row enemies to wear down high-HP targets quickly and grants Parry to all teammates for significantly improved team survivability. Her Moonlit Bloom application adds burst damage at the end of each turn, giving Changxi strong sustained pressure in prolonged fights across all stages. | Front-row damage, Core DPS, Late-game |
![]() Queen Mother [DPS] | Mage | Queen Mother hits three random enemies with massive burst damage in a single ability, simultaneously applying Bind and Fragile debuffs that restrict enemy actions and amplify incoming damage from all sources. Her end-of-turn damage burst further compounds her impact, making her one of the most influential Mages for late-game progression. | AoE DPS, Core Debuffer, Late-game |
![]() Peacock Twin [DPS] | Mage | Peacock Twin deals heavy retaliatory damage whenever an ally falls and applies Zen Path to increase all damage taken by enemies, making her progressively more impactful as fights extend. Her Burn DoT effects further weaken enemies over time, establishing Peacock Twin as one of the strongest sustained Mages in difficult late-game encounters. | Late-game, boss fights, sustained damage |
![]() Liuer [Hybrid] | Healer | Liuer targets the lowest HP enemy for reliable execution finishes, applies Zen Heart to three enemies when below 50% HP to amplify incoming damage, and heals the two lowest HP allies mid-battle. This combination of offensive targeting and active healing support makes Liuer the most versatile hybrid unit in the entire roster. | All Modes, Support and DPS, late-game |
![]() Zhurong [DPS/Tank] | Warrior | Zhurong shields himself and allies for strong team survivability, converts incoming damage into self-healing for extended sustain in prolonged fights, and deals heavy damage to high-AD enemies while reducing their base attack damage. This combination of offense, defense, and buffs makes Zhurong the most well-rounded and self-sufficient Warrior available. | Front-line tanking, survivability, late-game |
![]() Xuanyuang [DPS] | Mage | Xuanyuang applies Divine Flame to execute enemies mid-fight and triggers it instantly when targets fall below 50% HP, making her devastating in any fight that extends beyond the opening exchanges. Her ability to stack Divine Flame and convert stacks into heavy damage output makes Xuanyuang one of the strongest scaling Mages for endgame. | Late-game, boss fights, Core DoT |
![]() Xuanming [Support] | Healer | Xuanming heals the three lowest HP allies, grants team-wide shields to absorb incoming damage, and purifies CC effects from allies. She is also the only hero to deliver all three support functions simultaneously in a single kit. This makes Xuanming the best overall support unit in Samsara Valley for late-game progression. | All Modes, Cleanse Support, late-game |
![]() Twin Queens [DPS] | Assassin | Twin Queens eliminate back-row enemies to remove high-value targets quickly, apply Divine Flame to make enemies more vulnerable to incoming damage, and shred enemy armor to amplify the entire team's damage output. Their back-row focus makes Twin Queens invaluable in late-game stages where there are multiple dangerous ranged and support enemies. | PvP, boss fights, late-game |
![]() Xihe [DPS] | Warrior | Xihe deals heavy front-row damage to wear down high-HP targets and grants Guard to all allies to reduce team-wide incoming damage, while her Stun restricts enemy actions at critical moments. This balance of offense, team defense, and crowd control makes Xihe one of the most reliable and well-rounded heroes in the roster. | Against Tanks, crowd control |
Which Heroes Are A Tier in Samsara Valley?
| Hero & Role | Class | Why This Tier | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() Mystic Lady [Support] | Ranger | Mystic Lady provides valuable CC nullification that can save fights at critical moments and inflicts Silence on enemies to prevent Ultimates, giving your team a strong advantage. However, Mystic Lady's overall damage contribution and late-game impact fall short in comparison to the meta options in both Ranger and support roles. | CC-heavy Modes, PvP, Mid-game |
![]() Suzhen [Support] | Healer | Suzhen heals the lowest HP allies by a significant amount and grants Agility buffs that provide CC Resistance across the team, making her a solid defensive support in challenging gamemodes. However, Suzhen lacks any damage output, which limits her usefulness in fight scenarios where healing alone is not sufficient to turn the tide. | Support & Buffing, mid-game |
![]() Gongbao [DPS] | Mage | Gongbao's damage scales progressively with jealousy stacks accumulated over the course of a fight, and his Stun prevents enemies from using abilities at critical moments. However, Gongbao's damage output becomes largely ineffective without a reliable primary DPS hero alongside him, limiting his flexibility in team compositions that need standalone damage. | Extended fights, Secondary DPS |
![]() Bifang [DPS] | Warrior | Bifang's Plume debuff deals heavy burst damage after each turn, and her Wind Breath self-buff increases base AD for solid mid-game damage output. However, Bifang's damage falls off noticeably as you push into the late game, making her an inconsistent frontline option that loses relevance against higher-difficulty encounters. | Mid-game, Secondary DPS |
![]() Yuanyuan [DPS] | Ranger | Yuanyuan's damage stacks with Beauty stacks in prolonged fights, and she can soak significant damage from enemies inflicted with the Beauty effect, making her increasingly powerful as battles extend. However, Yuanyuan provides no team-wide buffs of any kind, restricting her entirely to a solo DPS role that limits her value in optimized compositions. | Secondary DPS, mid-to-late game |
![]() Xiaowan [Support] | Ranger | Xiaowan reduces enemy healing output to weaken their sustain mid-fight and grants random allies an Encourage buff that boosts Crit Rate for increased damage output. However, Xiaowan's own late-game damage falls significantly short of other Rangers and top-tier carries, confining her to a support-only role rather than a primary DPS slot. | Debuffer, PvP, mid-game |
![]() Shishi [Support] | Healer | Shishi heals allies and grants them a Penetration buff that improves armor-breaking efficiency, and triggers bonus ally damage when her HP drops below 50%. However, the damage buff's HP threshold requirement makes Shishi unreliable compared to top-tier Healers like Xuanming, as it demands Shishi to be at risk before activating its most impactful effect. | Secondary support, mid-game |
![]() Zhaojun [DPS] | Assassin | Zhaojun deals heavy burst damage to the lowest HP enemy for reliable execution finishes and gains a damage buff whenever an ally uses an Ultimate, enabling powerful damage windows in team fights. However, Zhaojun is highly vulnerable to CC and can be eliminated quickly without a dedicated debuff-removal hero protecting her. | Backline, Mid Game |
![]() Xuanji [DPS] | Mage | Xuanji deals significantly more damage and gains additional buffs when below 50% HP, and her Corruption stacks scale overall damage output with each passing turn, making her stronger the longer a fight lasts. However, Xuanji's fragility is a serious liability in the late game, where high enemy damage can eliminate her before she reaches her power threshold. | Secondary DPS, PvE Modes |
![]() Xianglan [DPS] | Warrior | Xianglan inflicts Poison for heavy burst damage and can apply it through attack blocks, adding a layered damage mechanic on top of her standard combat role. However, Xianglan's Poison application depends entirely on blocking enemy attacks, making her effectiveness inconsistent and unreliable in the late game, where triggering the mechanic is difficult to guarantee. | Debuffer, DoT, Mid Game |
Which Heroes Are B Tier in Samsara Valley?
| Hero & Role | Class | Why This Tier | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() Jianli [DPS] | Warrior | Jianli counterattacks enemies to boost both her own and allies' damage output and applies Weakness to reduce the attacker's AD significantly. However, Jianli's overall damage contribution is insufficient to justify long-term use, and higher-tier Warriors like Zhurong and Xihe have far more impactful offensive and defensive value in the same front-line role. | Early-to-mid game, Semi-Tank DPS |
![]() Bone Spirit [DPS] | Assassin | Bone Spirit deals burst damage to the lowest HP enemy and restores energy after securing kills, resulting in more frequent ability usage. However, Bone Spirit's entire kit is kill-dependent. Without securing kills, her energy passive breaks down completely, making her unreliable in fights where enemies do not die quickly. | Early game, Against Squishy Enemies |
![]() Zhen Mi [Support] | Healer | Zhen Mi provides decent healing for low HP allies in the early and mid-game and triggers an instant heal when her own HP drops below 50%. However, requiring Zhen Mi herself to be at low HP to heal allies creates a dangerous dependency that makes her significantly less effective than top-tier Healers like Xuanming and Suzhen. | Early-to-mid game, Secondary Support |
![]() Gongsun [DPS] | Ranger | Gongsun attacks three enemies with scaling damage and converts a portion of damage dealt into healing for the lowest HP ally. However, Gongsun's self-attack damage buff and damage reduction effects are nearly useless in long-term progression, and her overall contribution falls too far behind higher-tier Rangers to justify a slot in late-game team compositions. | Early game, AoE DPS |
![]() Yingying [DPS] | Ranger | Yingying can bind enemies to completely restrict their actions and deals decent damage suitable for the early game. However, Yingying has no meaningful skills to remain effective in mid or late-game, and her crowd control and damage are both overshadowed by every higher-tier Ranger in the roster. | Early game only |
![]() Rushi [DPS] | Mage | Rushi inflicts Burn for DoT damage and applies Weakness to reduce enemy output, with some early buffs. However, Rushi's long-term impact is low. Her Burn and Weakness values fall well behind stronger debuff and damage options from S and A Tier Mages like Xuanyuang and Gongbao, making her obsolete by mid-game. | Early game, DoT DPS |
Which Heroes Are C Tier in Samsara Valley?
| Hero & Role | Class | Why This Tier | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() Lady Ba [DPS] | Assassin | Lady Ba increases overall damage taken by enemies to make them more vulnerable, which provides some early-game use. However, Lady Ba's own damage output is significantly lower than every other Assassin in the roster, and her vulnerability passive provides diminishing value as you progress, making her relevant only in the very earliest stages of the game. | Early game only |
![]() Yingning [DPS] | Mage | Yingning passively restores energy for more frequent skill usage, making her useful in the early game. However, Yingning's damage scaling is too weak to remain relevant beyond the beginner stages, and she is directly replaced by stronger Mage options like Rushi at B Tier and Gongbao at A Tier the moment they become available. | Early game only |
![]() Xiaoqian [DPS] | Warrior | Xiaoqian has modest buffs for early-game progression, but her damage output is lower than that of every other Warrior in the roster. Her Burn effect is not powerful enough to compensate for her low base AD, making Xiaoqian ineffective in the late game, where Warriors provide both offense and front-line defense. | Early game only |
![]() Diaochan [DPS] | Mage | Diaochan applies Poison at the end of each turn for chip damage, which provides little value early on. However, Diaochan's base AD is lower than most Mages in the game, and her Poison application is restricted to once per battle. This limitation makes her one of the weakest damage dealers in the roster, with no late-game. | Early game only |
