How to find the Throne of The Queen That Was in Sea of Stars

You're definitely not going to be able to stumble onto this accidentally.

If the parrot has been annoying you to death about how you’ve missed a Treasure Chest in a place called Throne of The Queen That Was, hard same. No matter how many times I look at the map, there is no Throne of The Queen That Was in Sea of Stars. But I suppose every game has its secrets, and this just so happens to be one of Sea of Stars’. Here's how to find it.

How to reach the Throne of The Queen That Was in Sea of Stars

You’ll never reach the Throne of The Queen That Was by just staring at the overworld map. We originally thought the key is a secret oasis in Cerulean Expanse—but feel free to skip the oasis part and, as the event will trigger anyway. Just be sure you've defeated the Dweller of Dread before attempting it.

How to get to the secret oasis Cerulean Expanse

If you want immersion into the story of The Queen That Was, I highly recommend you find the secret oasis of the Cerulean Expanse. Besides, if you're looking for the desert's Rainbow Conch, it's there.

The first step here is to check if this hooded villager is in Repine Inn. They’re going to mumble a bunch of letters and may seem like gibberish—but they’re actually clues to help you reach the desert’s hidden area.

So, from the first, expansive desert area in the Cerulean Expanse, enter the following paths: South, Southwest, Southeast, and South again. This is where the secret oasis is.

In this oasis, camp for the night and speak to Serai to learn about her own woes in mapping the Cerulean Expense and her search for the elusive Throne room. She’ll then give you an artifact called Joce’s Belt Buckle and will ask you to allow Teaks to learn of its story for any hints.

As mentioned, feel free to do this part in any camp, as I think the event is going to trigger as long as you've defeated the Dweller of Dread. It's just that, in my playthrough, this progression just felt more natural—so yeah, I say hear out Serai's story in the place where it takes place.

Anyway, Speak with Teaks and listen to the story attached to Joce’s Belt Buckle. The directions you’ll need to traverse to reach the Throne of The Queen That Was are hidden in the logs.

Beginning from the first area, take the following paths: Northeast, Southeast, Northeast, and East. Doing so should lead you to an area with a Speedball—the only terminal that connects to the Throne of The Queen That Was.
