Sherlock Holmes Chapter One developer Frogwares has answered many questions about the game recently. Among them is how long it should take to complete the game.
According to the studio, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One has five main quests that are connected by a continuous storyline. There will be more than 30 side quests, some of which are as large as the main quests. It will probably take 12 to 15 hours to complete the main storyline and 40 to 50 hours to complete the full game.
Players can complete this large game fairly quickly, but it will take time to complete the extra activities.

In addition to these extra side quests, Disguises, Puzzles, and Decorating the mansion are available.
Disguise plays a huge role in Chapter One, and you can purchase or find new outfits at any time to help you fit in with social groups, gain access to restricted areas, or just customize how Sherlock looks.
In addition to decorating the mansion, you will have access to furniture as a reward or buy it from vendors. In addition to puzzle-solving, Sherlock will also fight from time to time when the situation warrants it.
