The World of Shadows awaits.

Shin Megami Tensei V allows players to create their party with the Demons that populate the game's dungeons through multiple methods. While players can convince some Demons to join via talks in combat, players can also fuse demons to create new entities to join them on their journey.

To fuse Demons in Shin Megami Tensei V, players must head to the World of Shadows. Players can access the World of Shadows via Leyline Founts. Once players enter the World of Shadows, selecting Demon Fusion opens up several combination options, which we've listed below:

Fusion TypeDescription
Dyad FusionFuses two demons on hand to create a new demon.
Reverse FusionThe World of Shadows attendant tells players what demon fusions are available from the demons they currently possess.
Reverse Compendium FusionWorld of Shadows attendant tells players which combinations can birth demons with their party members and compendium registries.
Special FusionLets players create a powerful demon with a specific combination of creatures.
