The Nahobino is the character that players control in Shin Megami Tensei V. This fusion of the human protagonist and Aogami. Both Demons and Angels in Shin Megami Tensei acknowledge the Nahobino as a deity, as these nearly extinct beings are both powerful and influential.

The mysterious Nahobino is a combination of a human and a creature that creates a godlike being. The Nahobino is not a single person, as only Aogami and the protagonist can create this character, and when they're fused, they become one. The Nahobino is neither of the puzzle pieces that put it together. A Nahobino possesses the power to alter the course of fate, which draws the attention of many enemies when players head to the Netherworld.
