Newbucks is the main currency used in Slime Rancher 2 to purchase Plots in the Conservatory to house your Slimes, grow food, or store items. It is also used to purchase Upgrades for your Vacpack or items, giving them better production or new actions.

Your total newbucks are shown on the bottom right corner of the screen. You can earn more by selling Plorts at the Plort Market in your Conservatory. Simply select the Plorts in your toolbar and shoot them into the port at the front of the Market. You will see your total amount increasing as you do.

The Plort Market board will also reveal how much each Plort is worth. The best way to earn newbucks quickly is to sell Plorts that are worth more in the Market. The up, down, and dashes next to the Plort icons represent the price increasing, decreasing, or staying the same. You will want to keep an eye on this as you continue to sell your harvested Plorts.

To get Plorts, you will want to feed your Slime as much food as possible. Slimes release Plorts after they eat. Hovering over the type of Slime will tell you what their diet is. Try to collect as much of this food as possible and shoot it near them to feed them and collect Plorts to sell. Depending on which Slime you feed will determine what kind of Plort you will receive.

You can also come across Plorts in the wild from Slimes that are eating or harvestable varieties that require an upgraded Vacpack. Since plenty of food is growing out in the wild, this is a great way to gain a more significant amount of Plorts from Slimes.

You can also start your food sources in your Conservatory, such as gardens or chicken coops. This will allow you to have a continuous food supply for your Slimes to earn Plorts more efficiently and faster. Make sure you are growing the food that your Slimes require. Some Slimes are pickier than others.

Slimes love to eat, and the more you feed them, the more Plorts you can gain to exchange for newbucks in your pocket. If you can set up a constant food supply in your Conservatory, you will be all set to up your savings in no time.
