Moondew Nectar is only available in the Starlight Strand region, the island located to the south of Rainbow Fields and The Conservatory. Generally found in the pink-highlighted area, we've marked all the Nectar spawn locations we could discover on the map above. You'll find these items placed on cliffsides and tree-tops, more abundantly in the southernmost part of the island.

One important thing to note is that you should go hunting for this resource only after sunset, preferably during midnight. That's because Moondew Nectar grows on Moondew Flowers, which blossom only in the dark and go inactive after five in the morning. Also, look for any Nectar that may have detached from the flower and fallen onto the ground. Collect these fast, as the slimes will not hesitate eating them.

Can you farm Nectar in Slime Rancher 2?

While you can grow your own fruit & veggies and house chickens at the ranch, you cannot farm Moondew Nectar in Slime Rancher 2. It is a special and scarce food resource that comes only from Moondew Flowers in their natural habitat. Therefore, whenever you need to feed the Flutter Slimes, you'll have to forage for this item at its spawn location.
