Where do you find Moss in Stardew Valley?
Moss can be found on trees and weeds throughout the map and across your farm. It can appear on all different tree types, and may look a little different on the trunk depending on the tree type. Moss is not dependent on season or the time of day. You can remove the moss by using tools like axes, weapons like swords, or even explosives.
What does Green Rain do in Stardew Valley?
Green Rain is a weather type that can encourage Moss growth on trees. The moss will also populate on the weeds on your farm or across the map. The Green Rain weather type occurs randomly, regardless of season.

What do you with Moss in Stardew Valley?
Moss can be used in crafting and cooking to create a variety of different items. When you're using Moss, you can make:
- Moss Soup (Cooking) - 20 Moss
- Deluxe Worm Bin (Crafting) - 30 Moss & Worm Bin
- Mushroom Log (Crafting) - 10 Moss & 10 Hardwood
- Speed-Gro (Crafting) - 5 Moss & Pine Tar
- Statue of Blessings (Crafting) - 333 Moss, 999 Sap, 999 Stone, 999 Fiber
