What is the release date for Stardew Valley 1.6?

Stardew Valley is one of the most popular indie-themed farming simulator games, and we have all been loving it for as long as we can remember. The game has been almost perfect over the years; however, we never received a new update for it, despite being teased in September 2023.

In February 2024, we received a new update from the developers on the game's 8th anniversary. We finally have a release date, and I couldn't be more excited about it. The Stardew Valley 1.6 update is set to be released on March 19, 2024. To celebrate the anticipation, I've set up a countdown for you to bookmark and revisit:

Note the exact release time is not known and this countdown is an approximation; developer ConcernedApe has stated he will drop the new content once he's had his first coffee for the day. The update will be released on PC first, with other platforms to follow later.
