How to build an Imperial Star Destroyer in Starfield

There’s a pretty big overlap between fans of Bethesda's space RPG Starfield and Star Wars. The game has an incredibly robust spaceship-building system, as well as an incredibly resourceful modding community. So, it was only a matter of time before someone worked out how to build a Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer in Starfield. Here's how you can do it too!

Unfortunately, you can only build this ship on PC, as the Star Destroyer's massive size and scope necessitates installing several PC-only mods. However, creator Jackygold’s screenshots speak for themselves. To copy this Imperial Star Destroyer build, Jackygold has kindly put together a public 21-page Starfield Build Guide. It’s a magnificent achievement.

To copy this design you will need to use three shipbuilding mods from Nexus Mods which are linked from the guide. You’ll need them to remove the restrictions the game puts on a variety of ship dynamics, such as size and weight. This is technically cheating, but hey—it’s for a good cause, right?
