In Steelrising, you take up arms against the Automats in an alternative historical version of the French Revolution. As Aegis, you'll have several weapons and tools at your disposal to conquer the Automats. Steelrising has eight unique weapon types. Here is a list of all weapons types in Steelrising.

Fans

Fans are the starting weapon type for the Dancer class. Fans are an Agility scaling weapon with immobilization damage allowing you to trigger critical hits regularly. These short-range weapons have moderate overall physical damage and medium weight.

Chains

Chains are a Power scaling weapon, and chains are medium-range weapons with a medium-weight class. These weapons have high impact but low immobilization and substantial physical damage. They are an excellent choice for Power focused builds.

Halberds

Halberds are the starting weapon type for the Soldier class. Halberds primarily scale with Power, have high impact damage, and medium weight. Halberds are a long-range weapon, best used against single targets you want to keep your distance from.

Tonfas

Tonfas or batons are the starting weapon type for the Alchemist. These weapons typically have an alchemical affliction and primarily scale with Elemental Alchemy. Tonfas are medium-weight weapons that do decent immobilization damage. They are best used in builds focused on alchemical afflictions.

Claws

Claws are fast, short-range weapons. Claws scale with Agility and are a medium-weight weapon. These weapons have low immobilization, impact, and overall physical damage. However, they make up for this with fast attack animations.

Dual Swords

Dual Swords are an Agility and Power scaling weapon type. These medium-weight weapons have decent immobilization and impact with solid overall damage, and they are best used in Agility and Power hybrid builds.

Maces

Maces are the starting weapon class for Bodyguard. Maces are a heavy-weight class weapon that scales with Power. They have high impact and physical damage, with low immobilization. Their attack animations are faster than Wheels, but their overall damage is lower. They are best used in Power builds.

Wheels

Wheels are a heavy-weight class weapon. Wheels scale primarily with Power and have high impact and physical damage, with low immobilization. These weapons have slow attack animations but can stagger enemies easily with their high impact. Wheels are best used in heavy Power builds.
