How to heal in Stranded Deep

I need a medic!

Sooner or later (most likely sooner) you are going to get hurt in Stranded Deep. This is bad and you should stay on top of it when you are hurt or bleeding to prevent death. But pain is inevitable so you may be wondering how to heal in Stranded Deep.

The answer is: there is no quick way to heal. As Stranded Deep features more realistic gameplay, there are no health potions or salves that magically heal. Instead, you need to take care of yourself and be patient.

Healing in Stranded Deep occurs over time. But only if your hunger and thirst bars are full enough. This means you will need to have readily available food and clean water if you get hurt. Otherwise, you will not heal. You also have to have no current negative status effect. This will also prevent you from healing.

All of this can be tracked via the Watch/Health Monitor on your wrist. Keeping tabs on this often is a great way to make sure that you will heal naturally if you get hurt and take damage. Because healing takes time, you may want to play a little more carefully if you find yourself getting hurt often.
