Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin allows you to play through the whole game with up to two friends. It's no secret that playing in multiplayer often changes things up a bit. Many games will scale the difficulty to the players in your party, so how does Stranger of Paradise balance the game?
How does Co-op Difficulty Scale?
While there are different difficulties in multiplayer, it seems that the game is easier when in co-op. If you are playing on the lower difficulty modes, you may find that the game is even easier than it is on the Story Difficulty. If you are looking to actually have some resistance in your missions, then consider setting the room difficulty to Mythril or Adamantite.

If you are looking to get through the game quickly or are just trying to grind out lower-level classes, then repeating missions in co-op is great. You can quickly level up your weaker classes by having your teammates carry you, or switch to Anyone or Bronze room difficulty for an easier time.
You don't have to play with people you know, either. You can simply set up an open room and wait for other players to join you.
