How to make Aerogel in Subnautica

Make Aerogel with these simple steps!

Aerogel is one of the most valuable resources in the Subnautica universe. The material is required to craft various essential advanced machineries like Prawnsuit, Water-Filtration Machine, Thermal Plant, and much more. To make Aerogel, you will need to place some Gel Sack and Rubies inside a Fabricator.

As mentioned before, apart from the Gel Slack, the other ingredient required to make Aerogel is the Ruby. They can easily be identified with their bright red shiny appearance. Also, they emit a slight glow from their bodies during the night.

After collecting both the materials, open your Fabricator and navigate to  Resources>Advanced Materials> Aerogel. After crafting, Aerogel will be added to your inventory.

Remember, While Aerogel can be used to make several items, We recommend you make the Water Filtration System and Prawn Suit System as early as possible using it.
