How to do Boost Attacks – How do Boost Attacks work in Tales of Arise?

Here is how boost attacks work in Tales of Arise.

Boost attacks are a special power move that does increase damage towards enemies that can only be pulled off after your boost meter is full. You can fill the boost meter or Boost gauge by landing successful hits and counter-edges on enemies.

Once your Boost gauge is full, press the arrow key on your controller that points to where your character is on the party formation. You can also tell when your Boost gauge is full, as a white line under your icon on the party formation icon to the left of your screen will light up and flash.

When this happens, it means a Boost attack is ready to be made, so keep an eye on this icon if you want to know when the Boost attack is ready. Your party members can also make Boost attacks, and they can fill their gauges in the same way as you.

When their Boost gauge is full, press the arrow button that points to them on the party formation to have them make their Boost attacks.

Overall, Boost attacks are very easy to do once you get the hang of them. Using boost attacks can be an excellent way to down enemies, target flying enemy types, and force them to get on the ground. Because of this, we highly recommend using boost attacks to target flyers if you have trouble dealing with them.
