How to get the Devil Sculpture Artifact in Tales of Arise

Overcome the Training Grounds to claim the shady figurine!

The Devil Sculpture artifact is a fun little trinket that unlocks a new difficulty level, the Chaos difficulty. The Chaos difficulty is a step above the Hard difficulty but is not as brutal as the Unknown difficulty, which is unlocked via a free DLC released for the game.

To unlock the Devil Sculpture artifact, you'll need to beat Dohalim's Ultimate Training in the Training Grounds. You don't need to beat it within a certain amount of time, as is the case for some other rewards—you just need to beat it.

Beating Dohalim's Ultimate Training without worrying about the time limit isn't all that difficult of a feat, so long as you're appropriately geared for around level 60. While you may not be able to use items in the Training Grounds, you can still use healing Artes. If you play safe and keep your health topped up, you've got an excellent chance of powering through.

The challenge consists of three rounds: the first is against two Force Dusters, the second is against three Livid Wolves and an Alpha Livid Wolf, and the third is against a single Polycontras. All four of these enemy types are both the Dark element and agile, which is a mixed bag for Dohalim.

Dohalim has no way to take advantage of his solo-dark-element foes, as he has not a single light element Arte at his disposal. Instead, he has many dark Artes that will be resisted, so make sure to swap those out, unless they're vital for a lethal combo.

Make liberal use of Dohalim's boost. Each enemy is agile, so they'll dance around the arena until you lock them down once with Dohalim's vines. And despite being agile, each enemy is fairly easy to score perfect dodges off of since most of their attacks are decently well telegraphed, which makes Dohalim's Counter Edge easier to trigger.

Keep your health high, score yourself a perfect dodge to enable Counter Edge, lock the enemy down with a boost, and lay into them with some major damage to make short work of his Ultimate Training and claim yourself the Devil Sculpture artifact.
