Tears of Themis Ink Study Yibian Challenge room puzzle solutions

Like the previous Ink Study rooms, you must interact with all sparkling objects to obtain clues. You won't be able to trigger any of the puzzles without doing so. We recommend following this walkthrough from start to end to ensure that you don't miss any of the collectibles along the way.

Mechanical lock puzzle #1

Start on Rosa's side. Turn left and head south to find three sparkling objects. Interact with the rightmost display with a bonsai on it to trigger the first mechanical lock puzzle. You need to create a path from the Start tile to the End tile of the same color. Hold and drag until you've created a path to lock it in. Reference the image above for the exact paths you can use.

Mechanical lock puzzle #2

Jade Plate puzzle & Silk Pouch

Head north and west to find bookshelves. There's a sparkling spot between two bookshelves. Interact with it to trigger the Jade Plate puzzle. You must rotate four layers one by one until the red lines create a path for the pearl to enter the center of the plate. Reference the image above for the exact layout you need to copy.

Moving an outer plate will also move the inner plate next to it. With that said, we recommend working from the outermost layer to the innermost layer. Don't be alarmed when the inner plates move as you'll be working inwards. Solving this puzzle will reward you with a Silk Pouch.

Lock password

Switch to the male lead's side and head left to find the sparkling exit door. Interact with it to unlock the door and exit. Input the password to unlock it: 5159.

If you're unable to trigger the lock, then you're probably missing the last clue. To the left of the door, there's one more chess board that you need to interact with to get an important clue before you can trigger the exit lock.

After exiting the room, don't forget to claim the extra completion reward at the upper left of the Ink Study screen. You'll get 50 S-Chips for your efforts, assuming that you didn't miss any of the collectibles.
