Top 15 creations in Tekken 8

It is astonishing how good the customization in Tekken 8 looks. The customization options are great, and even the best Tekken mods are closely related to costumes. Very soon after its release, the internet was filled with the players' creations. When it comes to creation options, there are three main categories:

  • Body - This category means you can change a character's physical appearance; you can change their hair, eye color, cosmetics, or tan.
  • Outfit - Outfits are related to the costume; you can choose various outfit combinations, including glasses, upper and lower-body clothes, shoes, and unique items.
  • Accessory - These are decorations you can attach to your character. Most of them have some function you can activate during the match.

Now, let's see some of the most interesting ideas for customization in Tekken 8.

Raven as Noob Saibot

This ninja uses shadows and deceptions in his combat style, so it is expected to be made into another illusion-using ninja. Most of the players made Scorpion or Sub-Zero, so we wanted to make an exception.

Victor Chevallier as John Wick

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

"A legendary mercenary with a lot of weapons in his arsenal." You can use this description for both Victor and John Wick. It is remarkable how John Wick's style suits Monsieur Chevallier well.

Nina Williams as Lara Croft

Nina's appearance in Tekken 8 wielding a couple of guns indeed reminded players of another gaming icon from England. The legendary Tomb Raider is now a part of a fighting game franchise.

Zafina as Bayonetta

This mode works really well, not only because Zafina's outfit can be easily transformed in Bayonetta's fashion. Zafina's elegant and elusive fighting style also fits nicely into Bayonetta's personality.

Hwoarang as Leon Kennedy

Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil games is relatively easy to make. I have chosen Hwoarang simply because he has cutscenes on a bike. For a perfect cosplay, I attach the shotgun on Hwoarang's back.

Lars as Terry Bogard

Some of you might remember Fatal Fury and King of Fighters. What are the protagonists of SNK fighting games is the older Bogart brother. Lars fit into Terry's role physically, but also style-wise.

Bryan Fury as Super Mario

If this costume looks familiar, that's because there were Nintendo costumes in the Wii U version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The key detail in this costume is Asuka's cap, which I painted in red.

Dragunov as Niko Bellic

The main character of Grand Theft Auto 4 is perfectly depicted as one of the fellow Slavic characters. The hardest part was finding the right eye color since Dragunov has icy blue eyes.

Leroy Smith as Carl Weathers

The late, great Carl Weathers got his tribute as a Tekken character. Leroy Smith represents the old-school badass actor in a perfect way with this elegant combination.

Leo as Monkey D. Luffy

I needed someone thin and gender-ambiguous for Luffy, and luckily there was Leo. The future King of the Pirates and the Strawhat Crew captain was pretty easy to make once I realized the hat was there.

Dragunov as Goro Majima

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

The fan-favorite character from Yakuza games has various interesting fighting styles, but Combat Sambo wasn't among them. That is corrected now that Dragunov took over his snakeskin coat.

Reina as Mileena

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

This outfit is unique for Reina because it is made of her exclusive customization items. Since Mileena is the Kahn in Mortal Kombat 1, the cutscene with Reina on the throne fits her character really well.

Raven as Blade

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

Ever since he appeared in Tekken 5, players compared Raven with Blade, a fearsome vampire killer from Marvel comics and movies. Although he isn't predefined like in Tekken 6, this Blade also looks the part.

Feng Wei as Yujiro Hanma

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

Feng Wei's fearsome muscles worked really well as a base for making Yujiro Hanma the strongest being in the universe. Even though the two characters' motivations are similar, both of them are looking for ultimate strength.

King as John Cena

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

Before you ask, "Why did you post the empty picture?" Yes, I know the deal. Somehow, this combination works, mainly because King in short jeans really looks like John Cena who put on a jaguar's mask.
