All Classes in The Division Resurgence

Two major classes return.

The Division Resurgence is the franchise's first step into mobile gaming. Ubisoft released official gameplay footage of Resurgence, showing that nothing has been lost in translation. Resurgence looks and plays like a typical Division game, which is impressive given that Resurgence is a mobile title. You get a glimpse of what two major classes will be in Resurgence from the trailer below. There have been multiple different classes in the Division franchise, but what are all the classes in Resurgence?

At the time of this writing, we only know two classes in Resurgence—Demolitionist and Vanguard.

Demolitionist

Demolitionist is a classic that's been with the franchise since the first Division game. Demolitionists center around explosives, and their signature weapon is a grenade launcher. Demolitionists are usually the go-to class for players who want to blow things up and don't care for stealth. The Demolitionist class can also summon artillery turrets and gain a fragmentation grenade, the latter of which causes bleed damage.

Vanguard

Vanguard is a new specialization class introduced in Resurgence, and not much is known about it. Based on gameplay footage, Vanguard appears to be a scout-type class and can summon red triangles over targets' heads after spotting them. The whole squad can see the red triangles and rush toward the targets.

What other Classes should we expect?

There have been multiple classes within the Division franchise that are likely to show up in the game. Classes in The Division 1 and 2 not confirmed for Resurgence include Firewall, Gunner, Sharpshooter, Survivalist, and Technician. We also expect there to be more exclusive classes coming to Resurgence, specifically, but this is speculation.
