Ubisoft gives new look at The Division Resurgence gameplay, factions, and story

Ubisoft's mobile spin-off, The Division Resurgence, offers players a new gameplay experience and story. Fans of The Division can get a fresh look at the upcoming title's gameplay, factions, and story ahead of the game's release and closed alpha.

This information comes from both the official Ubisoft YouTube Channel and The Division Resurgence Twitter. Two new videos—The Division Resurgence – Official Gameplay Walkthrough and The Division Resurgence: New Factions, New Stories, and Gameplay were uploaded to the channel, offering players an in-depth look into the new title.

One of the major factions being added to The Division Resurgence is the Freemen, who will be one of the primary antagonistic forces in the title. This faction has an obsession with scavenging and hoarding supplies of any kind and using that to create homemade weapons and armor.

The Division Resurgence offers a brand new story in The Division universe, following the first wave of operatives sent into New York after the catastrophe. The events of the mobile title take place before the events of the original Division, as well as after it and the sequel, The Division 2. This gives newcomers an excellent entryway into the series and veterans an exciting new tale to experience.
