How to Change Weapons in Ultra Age?

Change weapons in style!

When you progress through Ultra Age, you will start to find more weapons. These weapons are suited to take down different types of enemies instead of them all being the same.

To change weapons in Ultra Age, you have two options. You can press R if playing on Nintendo Switch and R1 if on PlayStation once to cycle through the weapons in a clockwise circular motion. This is handy if you want to use the weapon to the right of the one you are using, but not so much if you don't.

The second way to switch weapons is to hold down R or R1 and then press one of the right facings, so on Switch—X, Y, B, A—and on PlayStation—Triangle, Circle, X, Square. This will change to the weapon that is linked to that button. By default, the Steel Blade is set to Y or Square, and the Katana is X or Triangle. But you can change positions if you so wish.

Not only does this change weapon, but it also causes an epic fighting move to occur, that will damage your opponents and switch your weapons at the same time. When in combat, the holding R/R1 and the face buttons should always be how you change weapons.
