Love interests and non-romantic partners in Unicorn Overlord
There are more than sixty units you can pick up throughout the length of Unicorn Overlord, and many of these are romance or non-romantic partner options. In order to romance a unit, you will need to recruit them first, then you will need to bring their rapport up to the maximum level. After that, you will need to complete their Rapport Conversations; there will be between one and three of these depending on the character. Once those are complete, you need to head to the Rite of the Covenant and choose which unit to get together with. Berengaria is unique in that you actually get a choice in the middle of her romance scene; after offering her the ring, she will reject you. When she asks if you're ready to deal with the consequences of that, you get to choose either: "I would never do that," or "We'll face those consequences together." If you pick the first option, she will reject you again and leave. If you pick the second, she will agree to be your wife. And she's one of the few cutscenes at the Rita that actually has a kiss at the end.
