Best servants in V Rising, Ranked

Go ahead and make things a little easier for yourself. You've earned it.

Many enemy types in V Rising can be used as servants who are ready to abide by your orders, doing what must be done to build your empire. With a total of five different types of servants, some are best to capture in early game while others are best kept for later.

Once you've unlocked the ability to capture living beings and turn them into your servants, you'll notice two types of servants that best serve you earlier in the game. Based on their Blood Type, each living being you empower has a special effect when turned into a servant.

Worker

With a perk called Humble Appearance, Workers reduce your difficulty by 100 when infiltrating any settlements. This means that any mission you're on that involves a settlement will be easier to deal with. Enemies will feel lighter to attack and loot may have higher drops. Note that the settlement with an easier difficulty will always be the settlement you get your servant from. For instance, workers from Dunley Farmlands will make sure that these farmlands have a lower difficulty level.

Rogue

Rogues have an incredible perk called Tracking Expertise. This means that every time you are in an area with a lot of demons and creatures (such as Farbane Woods), the difficulty drops by 100. This is extremely useful when you want to focus on gathering loot rather than killing everything (and everyone) in your environment (especially during PvE scenarios when other players aren't a concern).

Once you've found your footing in V Rising and crafted enough gear for yourself, it's time to hire a staff that's ready to work for you towards the endgame.

Warrior

As you venture into the increasingly challenging areas of the game (such as Thunderstrike Peak, which is towards the north of Gloomrot), you will come across several fortified territories. These are heavily guarded and may serve as a challenge even if you're a one-vampire-army. That's where the warrior servant's Military Tactics perk comes in handy. Thanks to this perk, the difficulty is reduced by 100 when hunting inside fortified areas.

Scholar

We know how some of you enjoy V Rising as a game of spells and magic, and that's totally awesome. For some of you who love that playstyle, scholar servants are the best assistants. Their Sacred Resistance perk reduces the game's difficulty by 100 when your vampire is hunting in areas protected by elements. Locations such as Cursed Forest can feel a bit simpler when you have a scholar servant by your side.

Brute

Some may consider these as the best overall servants in the game, simply because they reduce the overall difficulty of the game by 100. You can find Brutes with 100% (purest) Blood Type in the middle of Farbane Woods. Their perk Tenacious Strength ensures that difficulty is reduced in harsh environments. These can be any areas where you may feel underpowered, but that's when brutes become servants of strength. Think of them as jack of all trades, master of some.

So, these are the servants you'll be acquiring through the game. We hope each area becomes simpler based on which servant you choose to be a part of your adventure.
