How to move your Castle Heart in V Rising

I've left my heart in my home.

Upon starting V Rising, players are encouraged to build a castle, which will serve as their home base where they can store resources. Moving the Castle Heart is fairly simple.

You can move your Castle Heart by pressing the B button to open the Build mode. Click on the Castle Heart and then move it to a better location. You must place the tiles on plain Dirt tiles without any barriers. If you cannot expand the castle due to an error saying it is "blocked by a border or road environment," you must clear those titles completely.

How to move a castle heart after it's been constructed

Choosing the right place to place your base isn't always easy, and players starting may pick a poor spot accidentally. Fortunately, you can move your Castle Heart, but it will take extra resources and effort.

Once a Castle Heart is constructed, you cannot move it past its border. To move the heart farther away, players will have to tear down everything they have built—including the Castle Heart itself. From there, you must reconstruct everything and then reconstruct the heart with 30 Blood Essence and 240 Stones.
