If you want to make Explosives in V Rising, you need to start with a Minor Explosive box. But before you can make Explosives, you will need to unlock them by first killing Clive the Firestarter. Clive the Firestarter is one of many V Blood Bosses you will need to find and slay to unlock new items, powers, and weapons.
You can find Clive the Firestarter over at the Bandit Sulphur Quarry in V Rising. That said, you can find the Sulphur Quarry at the following location in Farbane woods. or above so that the fight goes easier on you. But if you have trouble, we highly recommend bringing a friend along or asking for help in chat. The Fight with Clive will be a piece of cake with two or more people.

- 16 Planks: You can make Planks by chucking Wood logs into the Sawmill.
- 100 Blood Essence: You can get Blood Essence by killing various enemies.

If you want to make Explosives in V rising, you will need to start with a Minor Explosive box. Making a Minor Explosive box will cost the following resources:
- 8 Sulphur: you make Sulphur once you kill Clive at the forge with Sulphur ore.
- 8 Planks: You can make Planks by chucking Wood logs into the Sawmill.
- 4 Whetstones: You can get Whetstones from looting chests or killing Bombers, Deadeyes, and Stalker enemies.

Once you got a few Explosives in V rising, you can use them to blow up large resource veins and blow up Doors and Castle walls in Raids.
Where to farm Sulphur ore in V Rising
If you want to mine Sulphur ore in V Rising, we recommend farming it at the Bandit Sulphur Quarry. The Quarry will hold several Sulphur ore nodes which can be farmed repeatedly after they respawn. You can also find Sulphur ore while exploring in the wild in the same places as Copper ore.
