Je-Ne-Viv is the final boss in the Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari DLC, and defeating her can prove difficult if you don't know what to do before jumping into the battle. Here's how to beat Je-Ne-Viv in Vampire Survivors.
How to defeat Je-Ne-Viv in Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari
To defeat Je-Ne-Viv in Vampire Survivors, we recommend using Eleanor Uziron. However, before loading into Abyss Foscari with Eleanor Uziron, ensure that if you're accrued any Golden Eggs with her, turn off the Eggs setting from the stage selection menu. If you don't, Je-Ne-Viv will eat your Golden Eggs and buff itself. Making the fight much more difficult.
As soon as you spawn into the boss fight against Je-Ne-Viv, you'll notice that it's not your traditional Vampire Survivors skirmish. The first thing that happens is that Eleanor's weapons are taken away, replaced with Magic Wand, Whip, and Prismatic Missile scattered around the map. You need to grab and use these instead.
Je-Ne-Viv boss fight strategy
While you can add any of the weapons to your arsenal to aid you in the battle, make sure that you pick up the Prismatic Missile that drops in. It looks like a white, round pearl. This creates explosions around your character.
You'll notice a theme with the dropped weapons: they're all ranged. Meaning that the key strategy here is to kite—stay at a distance and attack from afar. Try not to get too close because Je-Ne-Viv can inflict major damage if it hits you.
Keep up the kiting strategy until Luminaire Foscari, the character you would have already unlocked at this point by breaking the red Seal of the Abyss with Maruto Cuts, appears and finishes the job.
What do you get for defeating Je-Ne-Viv in Vampire Survivors?
Once Je-Ne-Viv is killed, Hyper Mode for the Abyss Foscari stage unlocks. This allows you to play the level with +60% Move Speed, +50% Gold Bonus, and +10% Luck Bonus buffs enabled.
How to unlock the Je-Ne-Viv fight in Vampire Survivors
To unlock the Je-Ne-Viv boss fight in Vampire Survivors, you must break two Seals within the Abyss Foscari stage.
The first, the Seal of the Abyss, can only be broken using Maruto Cuts and the Legionnaire weapon. You'll already have Maruto unlocked at this point, as you can't reach Abyss Foscari without doing so. To evolve his starting weapon, Eskizzibur, into Legionnaire, max out both Eskizzibur and Armor and then open a Treasure Chest.

Once the Seal of the Abyss is shattered, the Seal of the Banished will appear, which you need to smash using Eleanor Uziron. To break it, SpellString, SpellStream, and SpellStrike must be at max level (level eight) and evolved into SpellStrom by opening a Treasure Chest.
With SpellStrom in hand, attack the blue Seal of the Banished until it breaks, revealing the mummified corpse of Je-Ne-Viv. Like the crystal, hit it until it is destroyed, and the battle with Je-Ne-Viv will begin.
Who is Je-Ne-Viv in Vampire Survivors?
Je-Ne-Viv, which translates to "I don't live" in French, is the main antagonist of the Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari DLC. Known as the World Eater, it uses the Shadow Servant weapon, which releases a large slowing AoE attack.
Not much is known lore-wise about Je-Ne-Viv, only that if you look at its sprite closely, you can see Eleanor Uziron absorbed into its body once the fight is over, suggesting that a sacrifice was made when Luminaire Foscari came in at the end of the battle to put the boss down for good.
