How to unlock the Candelabrador in Vampire Survivors

The punny passive item.

In Vampire Survivors, the Candelabrador is a passive weapon with a pun name that expands the area of all your weapons. But this passive weapon isn’t unlocked from the start. Instead, you have to complete a few challenges to have it unlocked. So how do you unlock the Candelabrador?

The Candelabrador is unlocked by leveling up the Santa Water to level four. To do this, simply start a run with any character and unlock the Santa Water. Level it up to level four, and you’ll unlock the Candelabrador as a passive item that can drop when you level up.

But there’s also another way to use the Candelabrador if you’ve not unlocked it.

How to find the Candelabrador in Vampire Survivors

In Stage 3, the Dairy Plant, the Candelabrador is located in the bottom right-hand corner of the stage. You can find it using the Milkyway Map on the pause menu. Picking up the Candelabrador from the ground in this stage doesn’t unlock it, but it does mean you can use it to evolve the Axe.

As mentioned, the Candelabrador is the passive item used to evolve the Axe into the Death Spiral. But the Candelabrador also has great synergy with other weapons such as the Bloody Tear, Soul Eater, Hellfire, and Lightning Ring.

This is because the area of your attacks is augmented by 10% each time you level up the Candelabrador. The ultimate use of this item is to combine it with Porta Ladonna (whose stats grant +30% area) and use the Area Power-Up to increase your area as well. This will max out at a grand total of +90% area of effect on all your weapons.
