Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari DLC walkthrough

Tides of the Foscari is Vampire Survivors' second DLC, adding new stages, characters, weapons, and more. As always, Poncle has left much of how to complete the additional content shrouded in mystery—here's how to complete the Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari DLC with our full story walkthrough.

How to beat the Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari DLC

To beat the Tides of the Foscari DLC in Vampire Survivors, you must complete the following steps in order:

1. Unlock Eleanor Uziron by opening her coffin.
2. Evolve SpellString, SpellStream, and SpellStrike into SpellStrom to unlock Maruto Cuts.
3. Survive for 15 minutes in a run with Eleanor Uziron.
4. Evolve Eskizzibur into Legionnaire to unlock Keitha Muort.
5. Survive for 15 minutes in a run with Maruto Cuts.
6. Evolve Flash Arrow into Millionaire.
7. Survive for 15 minutes in a run with Keitha Muort.
8. Break the Seal of the Lake with Keitha Muort.
9. Break the Seal of the Abyss with Maruto Cuts to unlock Luminaire Foscari.
10. Break the Seal of the Banished with Eleanor Uziron.
11. Defeat Je-Ne-Viv.

How to unlock Eleanor Uziron in Vampire Survivors

To unlock Eleanor Uziron, you must open her coffin on the Lake Foscari stage. To do this, head northwest from the starting point until you reach a wooden bridge. Cross it, then continue northwest, and you'll come across a small village.

Go to the northwest corner of the village, and you'll see a black coffin. Defeat the enemies here and then walk over her coffin to unlock Eleanor Uziron as a playable character.

How to get SpellStrom and unlock Maruto Cuts in Vampire Survivors

To unlock Maruto Cuts, you need to evolve Eleanor's weapons—SpellString, SpellStream, and SpellStrike—into SpellStrom. To do this, all three of the weapons need to be at their max level, which is level six. Once they are, open a Treasure Chest to trigger the evolution into SpellStrom.

Doing this also unlocks Maruto Cuts as a playable character, who you'll need to complete the Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari DLC.

How to survive for 15 minutes in a run with Eleanor Uziron in Vampire Survivors

Before jumping into a run with Maruto Cuts, now would be a good time to unlock SpellStrom into your general weapon pool for other characters to use. To do so, you must survive for 15 minutes in a single run with Eleanor Uziron.

The best way to ensure your survival with Eleanor is to evolve SpellString, SpellStream, and SpellStrike into SpellStrom because the evolved weapon unleashes a devastating storm AoE attack that can wipe out every single enemy on your screen. Pair this with the Empty Tome passive at max level to reduce your cooldowns, and you'll be unstoppable.

How to get Legionnaire and unlock Keitha Muort in Vampire Survivors

With Maruto Cuts unlocked, you need to evolve his starting weapon, Eskizzibur, into Legionnaire to unlock the next playable character: Keitha Muort.

To evolve Eskizzibur, it must be maxed at level eight. You also need the Armor passive and have that maxed out at level five. With both at their cap, open up a Treasure Chest, and Eskizzibur will evolve into Legionnaire.

By evolving Legionnaire for the first time, you will automatically unlock Keitha Muort, who you need for the next step in the Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari DLC.

How to survive for 15 minutes in a run with Maruto Cuts in Vampire Survivors

Before you move on to Keitha Muort, it's a good idea to unlock Eskizzibur into the general weapon pool so other characters can use it. Like Eleanor Uziron and SpellStrom, you must survive for 15 minutes in a single run with Maruto Cuts to do so.

Because Maruto's starting weapon, Eskizzibur, deals widespread sword-slashing damage, we recommend the Slash Arcana, enabling critical hits. Pairing it with Spinach to increase damage means that you'll kill almost every enemy that touches the tip of the blade, guaranteeing your survival for 15 minutes.

How to evolve Flash Arrow into Millionaire in Vampire Survivors

With Keitha Muort unlocked, start a new run with her. She aims to evolve her starting weapon, Flash Arrow, into its more powerful form, Millionaire. To do this, level up Flash Arrow to its max at level eight, alongside Bracer and Clover, which must be level five each. Once all three have been maxed out, open up a Treasure Chest, and Flash Arrow will evolve into Millionaire.

While you may be tempted to quit the run at this point, we'd advise staying until the clock hits 15 minutes, as you'll unlock Flash Arrow into the general weapon pool for everyone else. This is optional as you don't unlock a character by doing this, but if you're going for 100% achievements, you'll need to do it.

How to destroy the Seal of the Lake in Vampire Survivors

As you explored the Lake Foscari stage, you may have noticed a large green emerald by the lake. This is known as the Seal of the Lake, and if you smash it, you'll unlock the next stage, Abyss Foscari.

To destroy the Seal of the Lake, load into Lake Foscari with Keitha Muort and evolve her starting weapon into Millionaire. Then approach the crystal, and it will shatter, automatically throwing you into Abyss Foscari.

If you haven't found the Seal yet, head northeast from the starting point until you reach a maze. Navigate through it, taking the following directions:

1. Right
2. Up
3. Right
4. Up
5. Left
6. Down
7. Left
8. Up

Once you're out the other side, continue northeast, and you'll end up at the Seal of the Lake.

How to destroy the Seal of the Abyss and unlock Luminaire Foscari in Vampire Survivors

Start a new run in Abyss Foscari with Maruto Cuts. Max out Eskizzibur and Armor, then open a Treasure Chest to evolve it into Legionnaire.

Return to the starting point, and then follow these directions to find the red Seal of the Abyss:

1. Head south toward the two Crown stage pickups.
2. When you reach the first one, go west and see a long stone bridge and the second Crown.
3. Continue west along the bridge until you see an opening to the north.
4. Go north through the opening, and you'll arrive at the Seal of the Abyss.

With Legionnaire in your arsenal, approach the red crystal and attack it until it shatters. Doing so will expand Abyss Foscari and reveal the Seal of the Banished.

How to destroy the Seal of the Banished in Vampire Survivors

The next step is to destroy the blue Seal of the Banished. To do so, start an Abyss Foscari run with Eleanor Uziron and evolve her SpellString, SpellStream, and SpellStrike into SpellStrom.

With SpellStrom in hand, return to the starting point and take the following directions to reach the Seal of the Banished:

1. Travel south toward the two Crown stage pickups.
2. When you've reached the first one, head west across the long stone bridge.
3. Once on the other side, go northwest toward the Attractorb and Stone Mask stage pickups, where you'll find the blue emerald sandwiched in between.

To break the Seal of the Banished, attack it with SpellStrom until it shatters. You'll see the petrified corpse of Je-Ne-Viv; attack it until it's destroyed, and you'll load into a boss fight.

How to defeat Je-Ne-Viv in Vampire Survivors

When facing off against Je-Ne-Viv, the final boss of the Tides of the Foscari DLC, you'll notice that it isn't your traditional Vampire Survivors fight. Here, you lose all your weapons and must use the Prismatic Missile, Whip, and Magic Wand scattered on the ground.

Pick them up and attack Je-Ne-Viv from afar, kiting it throughout the entire battle. Make sure not to get too close, as it will inflict devastating damage on you if it touches you. Keep attacking the boss with the supplied weapons until Luminaire Foscari flies in and finishes it off.
