What is the Lightning Ring Evolution in Vampire Survivors and How to Evolve

In Vampire Survivors, the Lightning Ring is one of the best weapons. Striking multiple random enemies with massive damage it’s a great passive defense against the hordes of bats and vampires coming to kill you. It’s also Porta Ladona’s starting weapon.

The Lightning Ring evolves at level eight and transforms into the Thunder Loop. To evolve the Lightning Ring, you need to survive for at least 10 minutes and have picked up both the Lightning Ring and the Duplicator item.

Then, any chest you acquire after the 10-minute mark will contain the upgrade needed for the Thunder Loop. The Thunder Loop will cause lightning to strike twice, doubling the damage output compared to the Lightning Ring. It’s an incredibly potent late-game weapon that you should definitely work towards.

The easiest character to achieve this on is Porta Ladona, as you she starts with the Lightning Ring and has the best chance of getting the chests needed to upgrade. However, even without Porta Ladona, if you're able to unlock the Lightning Ring, you'll be able to upgrade it to level eight in time for the post 10-minute chest drops.

If you haven’t unlocked the Lightning Ring, all you need to do is end a run having defeated at least 5000 total enemies. So it’s a little bit of a grind, but nothing you can’t achieve on a good run.
