How to unlock the Flamer in Warhammer 40k Darktide – Flamer Guide

I am the lord of Hellfire, and I give you...

All the weapons in Warhammer 40k Darktide are iconic in their own right, but Flamer has its own unique status in the universe. It provides the means of dispatching many foes quickly and brutally. A weapon unlike any other because it has an area of effect, the Flamer doesn't take a skillful shooter to provide effective crowd control.

How to obtain the Flamer in Warhammer 40k Darktide?

In the universe of Warhammer 40k, The Flamer is a weapon used mainly by the members of Ecclesiarchy to dispatch daemons and heretics, and it can be wielded exclusively by Zealot Preachers. To unlock the Flamer, you need to reach level 8 on your Zealot Preacher. After you do, head over to Armoury Exchange. You may need to refresh it a few times for the Flamer to appear. Once you see it, purchase it.

Using the Flamer may not be as straightforward as it looks. Like many other weapons in Darktide, the Flamer has two firing modes. When you fire it from the hip, it emits limited bursts of flame that are good for taking out small groups of enemies. However, if you aim down sights, the weapon shoots in fully automatic mode. This mode is useful when dealing with the horde as they spawn.
