How to unlock ??? Wizardry spells in Wo Long

In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, there is a large assortment of Wizardry spells to learn and choose from. Each tree offers spells that specialize in their respective elements. However, if you've been playing long enough and are rather astute, you may have noticed a select group of locked spells, near the top of every Wizardry spell tree, that have a ??? listed as their unlock prerequisite. There is little indication on how you unlock these, but fortunately, we've figured it out, and it is simpler than you think. Here's how to unlock the ??? spells in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

How to earn the ??? Wizardry Spells in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty

In order to gain access to this group of spells, you'll need to throw yourself into the face of danger once more. For this, you'll need to access your Travel map and select the Other option at the top. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty doesn't do a great job showing you this, but under the Other section should be a group of sub-battlefields that you can access. The two you're looking for are Wizardry Spell Mastery and The Scarlet Crystal. Depending on where you are in the story, you may only have access to the first of the two we just mentioned. If so, just progress the story until the second of these unlocks for you.

For the Wizardry Spell Mastery sub-battlefield, you must survive an onslaught of demons that attack you in waves to complete it. Be warned that you'll be facing some tough foes from throughout your journey, so be ready once you enter. When you complete this battle, you'll unlock the first set of ??? spells and can select to learn them from the list like any other spell.

For The Scarlet Crystal sub-battlefield, you'll be forced to face off against Hong Jing in a one-on-one duel. Hong Jing is treated like a boss and has a decent health pool, so get ready for a fight because she's much tougher than she implies throughout Wo Long's story. Hong Jing is adept at casting Wizardry, so watch out for her array of deadly spells. Defeating her will see the last set of ??? spells unlocked for your convenience.
