In Souls-like games like Wo Long, the damage you take is typically permanent without outside intervention. While some healing is available through some Wizardry, Dragon Pots are by far the best way you can heal damage in Wo Long. The catch is that they're limited in potency and quantity, especially at the start. Fortunately, there is a way to increase the amount of Dragon Pots you can have and how powerful they are, and it simply involves playing the game. Here's how to improve your Dragon Pots in Wo Long.
How to get Dragon Vein Crystals (Increase Limit)
To increase the amount of Dragon Pots you can hold at one time, you're going to need Dragon Vein Crystals. Dragon Vein Crystals are obtainable by picking them up in levels throughout Wo Long. Like all items, they will appear as glowing yellow sparks sitting on the ground, so note that there is no way to differentiate them from other items. As such, it is important to pick up every item you can find so you don't miss one. Dragon Vein Crystals tend to be hidden in unusual plays in most main missions and some side missions, so be sure to look carefully.
Upon collection, Dragon Vein Crystals will appear in the Consumables tab in your inventory. They look like a cluster of green crystals. In order to increase your Dragon Pot limit, click the crystal and select Use to consume it. Once this is done, rest at your nearest banner checkpoint, and you'll find your maximum to be increased automatically.
How to get Dragon Vein Essence (Increase recovery amount)
Dragon Vein Essences are required to increase the amount of health restored when using a Dragon Pot. Very much like Dragon Vein Crystals, they are obtainable by finding and picking them up in Wo Long's various levels. They will also appear as glowing yellow sparks, which reinforces the importance of collecting every item you find. You'll need to also look carefully around each level, as these are often hidden away in strange locations in most main missions and side missions.
Like with the crystals, Dragon Vein Essences are usable items in Wo Long, so you'll need to follow the steps we mentioned earlier to gain their positive effects. Once more, go into the Consumable tab of your inventory and choose to Use them. Once done, head to the nearest banner checkpoint to and drink a Dragon Pot when injured to notice its improving healing potency.
