Is the Box Office Game based on Wordle?
While it may not seem to be based on Wordle from a quick glance, Box Office Game was inspired by the globally popular word game. It was created in March 2022 and has been steadily increasing in popularity since. The game idea is officially inspired by the Blank Check Podcast, but the site layout and functionality take direct inspiration from its word-guessing predecessor.

How to play Box Office Game
Box Office Game is a bit more complicated than Wordle, but it is still possible to quickly get the hang of it. The game will give you a weekend date and the box office information to go with it. It is on you to guess the title. The game gives you some key info, such as money brought in, distributer, and whether it came in over or under budget.
Thankfully, you can use earned or bonus points to hit the + sign on each title to reveal selective hints. You have up to 10 guesses to get everything correct. The game is quite challenging, but that's part of the fun!
