World of Warcraft Dragonflight has four major factions to progress through: the Dragonscale Expedition, Maruuk Centuar, Iskaara Tuskaar, and Valdrakken Accord, but they aren't the most important ones to focus your attention upon. Here are the best faction reputations to grind in World of Warcraft Dragonflight.
Best Faction Reputations to farm in WoW Dragonflight
While the four main factions offer interesting rewards and new mechanics, they are mostly cosmetic or 'extra' in nature. Instead, we recommend you focus on three other minor factions that can offer you decent rewards early on: The Artisan's Consortium, Cobalt Assembly, and either Sabellian or Wrathion.
The Artisan's Consortium
The Artisan Consortium focuses on the revamped professions system introduced in Dragonflight. As such, crafting is the name of the game here. You'll want to level this reputation up for the additional profession skill points purchasable from the faction's main vendor in Valdrakken. You get a few extras just for meeting with them, but you'll need to improve your standing for the rest. To do this, accept and complete quests from members of the faction found all over the Dragon Isles. World Quests can also give reputation to this faction, but only if you have an active contract toward the Artisan's Consortium. Contracts can be bought from the auction house, or purchased directly from players that have specialized toward making contracts.
The Cobalt Assembly
The Cobalt Assembly is another minor faction located in the northwestern part of the Azure Span. Unlike the Artisan's Consortium, the Cobalt Assembly is a more traditional faction in how reputation for it is obtained. Gaining reputation is simple: kill the elite enemies just outside the main Cobalt Assembly camp and loot their corpses for reputation items. Upon acquiring them, you'll gain the reputation instantly. Upon reaching the fourth rank of the Cobalt Assembly, you can purchase an item level 389 ring from the reputation's main vendor. An item level 389 is better than what even mythic dungeons offer, so this is a top-tier ring to obtain, making the grind worth it. The enemies here are strong, so join a group to make the grind efficient.
Sabellian or Wrathion
This faction is technically two separate, even though they aim for the same prize. Both are located among the Obsidian Citadel in the Waking Shores. You must first choose to side with Sabellian or Wrathion upon reaching level 70 to begin progressing with either of these factions. You can choose to side with Sabellian or Wrathion once per week. Once you do, you'll need to begin killing the elites around the citadel, as they drop an assortment of items you need to combine and give to either Sabellian's or Wrathion's proxy, depending on who you pick. Enemies here can also drop an item called Mark of Sargha, which can be turned in for additional reputation gains.
No matter who you choose to side with, gaining enough reputation will grant you access to an assortment of purchasable loot, including an item level 389 neck piece and an item level 398 cloak. Sabellian and Wrathion both have their own unique faction rewards that you can only obtain from gaining enough reputation with either one. These are mostly cosmetic, but something to note, nevertheless.
