WoW Classic is exploding in popularity, especially with the release of Season of Discovery. New WoW releases always mean questionable server integrity, so here's how you check on the status of every Classic WoW server with ease.

How to check the realm status of Classic WoW (SoD)

If you're trying to determine which Classic WoW servers are dead, or just under maintenance, you easily check the status of every server by going to WoW's official server list. There, you will find everything you need to know about every possible WoW server, including Classic WoW and Classic WoW Season of Discovery.

Be sure to filter for World of Warcraft Classic, so you can find those servers easily. I also recommend having a server in mind to search for. All of the servers under the filtered list have their Locale displayed, which determines the server's era. Standard WoW Classic servers are listed as Classic Era, while WoW Season of Discovery servers are listed as Seasonal.

Additionally, if you're already in-game, you can check the status of a server by logging in and clicking on the Realm List displayed. This will take you to the screen where you see the current status of every WoW Classic server. Servers that are not available will grayed out and unselectable.
