How to get the Cliffside Wylderdrake mount in World of Warcraft Dragonflight

Dragonriding ushered in an entirely new way to fly in World of Warcraft. If the Dragonflight expansion is remembered for nothing else, it will be how it revolutionized world travel. Players can dip, soar, dive, and glide thanks to a series of controls designed for four unique mounts. As players progress through the Dragon Isles, they'll earn up to four dragonriding mounts. Here's when you can get the Cliffside Wylderdrake.

Where to find the Cliffside Wylderdrake mount in WoW

The Cliffside Wylderdrake mount is the fourth and final dragonriding mount available in Dragonflight. It is a reward for completing the Back to the Future main story quest in Thaldraszus. By the time players have earned this mount, they'll quite nearly be finished with the base Dragonflight main story quest. Don't worry about missing it as you'll be railroaded right to it.

We can't help but think the Cliffside Wylderdrake resembles the Horde's default flying mount, the wyvern. That being said, not everyone can appreciate the majesty that is the Highland Drake mount. Some players want something smaller, sleeker, and meaner. This is a role perfectly filled by the wylderdrake thanks to its smaller stature, flowing mane, and imposing curved horns. It's a mount that requires a lot of time to earn but is well worth the effort.
