How to get the Winding Slitherdrake in WoW Dragonflight

With the release of WoW Dragonflight's 10.1 content update, a flurry of collectible mounts become available for consumption. One such mount is the Winding Slitherdrake, a mount with a brand-new model and set of animations. Usually, mounts as unique as this kind are difficult to obtain, often requiring the completion of hard-to-reach achievements or raid boss kills. However, the Winding Slitherdrake is not one of them. Here's how to get the Winding Slitherdrake in WoW Dragonflight.

How to earn the Winding Slitherdrake in WoW Dragonflight

The Winding Slitherdrake is obtained through the completion of 10.1's Embers of Neltharion campaign storyline. The campaign contains a total of seven story chapters, and you'll need to finish the first five in order to unlock the mount. It is one of the rewards for the completion of these story chapters, which means just progressing through the main story will see you earning the mount.

Worst of the Worst is the quest in question that will earn you the Winding Slitherdrake mount upon completion. This quest sees you slaying Overseer Xymra, an elite enemy. Upon doing so, the mount will instantly be yours. The Winding Slitherdrake works similarly to the other Dragonflight drakes gathered earlier in the storyline, meaning you can use it to fly around the Dragon Isles.

When can you get the Winding Slithering Drake in WoW Dragonflight?

You may have noticed that the current campaign does not go up to chapter five. This is because both chapter 4 and chapter 5 won't be officially released until the week of May 8. Once we've gotten the mount ourselves, we'll let you know exactly how awesome it is to have.
