Union Level is the equivalent of your Wuthering Waves account level, which you need to level up to unlock progression blockers and increase your SOL3 Phase, which will allow you to increase your Resonator levels and unlock harder content. Here are all the ways you can farm Union EXP to quickly progress in WuWa.
How to farm Union EXP in Wuthering Waves
If you're at that point where your Union Level doesn't automatically level up with main missions alone, below are things you can do to progress it faster.
Quests
You can get a ton of Union EXP for free by completing Quests. You can trigger Quests by talking to NPCs with a blue exclamation mark on their heads or checking your Quest menu for any new entries. Completing any kind of Quest will reward you with a ton of Union EXP. Companion Stories are a little long but will give you the highest amount of EXP.
Waveplates
Any activity that costs Waveplates (Resin/Energy) will reward you with Union EXP proportional to the amount of Waveplates spent. The rate is 300 Union EXP for every 40 Waveplates you spend. The image above illustrates the location of the Simulation Training location in Jinzhou, but the reward is not limited to this area. Anything that costs Waveplates, whether crafting, collecting rewards from weekly bosses, etc, will always reward you with a fixed amount of Union EXP.
Since Waveplates can only replenish by waiting (one Waveplate recovered every six real-time minutes) or spending Astrites, I encourage you to always use up your Waveplates whenever possible.
Milestones
Open the Guidebook via the Terminal or the icon on the upper right of the screen, then head to the Milestones section pictured above. In the early game, there will be a ton of Milestones available for you to complete, some of which will reward you with a considerable chunk of Union EXP.
Activity (dailies)
Open the Guidebook via the Terminal or the icon on the upper right of the screen, then head to the Activity page to find a list of annoying dailies that will torment you for the rest of your WuWa journey. On the bright side, reaching the Acitivy Point milestones will reward you with a total of 2,000 Union EXP per day. Don't forget to manually claim them before the daily server reset, or they won't be credited to your account.
