Finding new bugs in video games is like gaining hidden treasures, and Wuthering Waves is no different with some awesome bugs. One of these bugs lets you have access to Yinlin earlier than the intended release date for the banner, and this guide will teach you how to achieve that.
How to get access to Yinlin before her banner in Wuthering Waves
The Yinlin banner is scheduled to be released on June 12. To gain early access to Yinlin, all you need to do is tweak your system's date to a future time. The process seems daunting at first, but it's quite straightforward.
To get started with getting the Yinlin trail early, you have to wait until the banner shows up on the events screen in Wuthering Waves. Once the banner is there, follow these steps to play Yinlin early.
- Go to your desktop, right-click on the date and time on your screen, and select Adjust date and time option.
- This will open the settings app, where you will see a bunch of different settings.
- Turn off the Set time zone automatically and the Set time automatically settings.
- Now, an option to change time will appear underneath the Set time automatically settings.
- Click on it, edit the date, and set it to anywhere in the future before June 12.
The steps are similar for mobile devices, by the way. Just don't forget to unsync your clock first.
Now that your system's time is set, it's time to launch Wuthering Waves on your device.
Follow these steps to get early access to Yinlin when the banner shows up:
- Go to the Events menu from the top right side of your screen.
- Scroll down to find Yinlin’s banner, and select Yinlin.
- Lastly, press Proceed to start playing as Yinlin for the trial.
Note that these steps will not allow you to pull for Yinlin—only play as her. However, it will help you decide whether to pull or skip Jiyan.
