Wuthering Waves' smooth ARPG combat, incredible vistas, and tempting gacha mechanics are only a few reasons to assume the role of a Rover. However, something more valuable than great combat and beautiful visuals is our priority today: framerate. I am here to help you maximize your FPS with the least amount of effort.
How to set your framerate to 120 FPS
To change your FPS all you have to do is navigate to the settings menu, which you'll find at the bottom right of the in-game menu. After that jump down to the Graphic Settings tab and you'll see the Frame Rate setting where you can alter your FPS to your needs. Sadly, Wuthering Waves is capped at 60 FPS due to a reported glitch with PCs when using 120 FPS. Developers Kuro Games promised to bring back the option once the issues have been resolved.
One user quoted Kuro Games, saying, "Currently, the game is known to occasionally glitch in 120 fps mode on the PC. While the dev team is solving the problem, this feature will be unavailable during the period. We will inform you when this feature is available in future updates. Thanks for your patience and support."
Until we hear more, the highest FPS you can achieve is 60 regardless of the other graphical changes you make. While it's not great for higher-end rigs, especially since the combat is so slick, all we can do is wait for the fix to be found. Once the option is returned you can follow the instructions above and switch the Frame Rate cap from 60 to 120 and you're good to go.
