How to do a Finisher in WWE 2K22

Finish them!

To perform a Finisher in WWE 2K22, you must first fill your Finisher meter, then get in the right position for your Finisher. Press RT + A (Xbox), or R2 + X (PlayStation) to perform a Finisher.

Attacks and reversals will fill the Finisher meter throughout the match. The Finisher meter is the yellow bar at the bottom of the HUD, which also shows how many finishers are stored in the bottom right corner of the HUD. Players can store up to three Finishers during the match, so make sure you keep track of how many you and your opponent have.

Each Finisher requires at least one position for the opponent to be in to perform it. Finishers can have different requirements for both the player and the opponent, so it is important to look at the move list and learn what positions are required for both Finishers and Signatures. For example, if you are playing as Roman Reigns, his Spear Finisher either requires you to be running or next to a grounded opponent to perform it, while Rey Mysterio's Frog Splash requires you to be on top of the turnbuckle.

In WWE 2K22, Finishers can be hard to pull off since there are no reversal stocks and a new defense system. To pull off a Finisher without being reversed, try to stun the opponent with light attacks before launching a Finisher. The stun bar can be seen above your opponent's head, and when it is completely filled, they cannot reverse attacks.
