XDefiant's main selling point is its take on loadouts, which many Call of Duty fans are familiar with. With such a vast array of options, we cherry-picked some of the best XDefiant loadouts and guns you can opt for once the game opens for another beta test or upon its release.
Best Guns and Loadouts in XDefiant
XDefiant has over 24 different guns available during its open beta phase, the most notable being the M4A1, ACR 6.8, MP7, and the TAC-50. While other guns are still viable, these guns stood out in my playtime during the open beta, so in this guide, I'll focus on the best loadouts and attachments for these five guns.
Best M4A1 Loadout and Attachments
The M4A1 is one of the most iconic guns in all shooter games, and XDefiant developers definitely did not disappoint with this iteration. It has a significantly faster sprint-out and ADS time over other assault rifles, and that's what we'll further improve using attachments.
Slot | Attachment |
Barrel | Chrome-Lined |
Muzzle | Brake |
Front Rail | Vertical |
Optics | Reflex |
Magazine | Fast Mag |
All of these attachments help the M4A1 by providing better damage range, recoil control, and faster reload speed. This loadout will allow you to weave in and out of gunfights while making it easier and quicker to shoot down enemies.

Best ACR 6.8 Loadout and Attachments
The ACR 6.8 is the big brother of the M4A1 in XDefiant; it has better firepower in exchange for being heavier and having a slightly slower reload time. ACR 6.8 is a beast itself at stock settings, but we prefer to amplify its base stats even further with these attachments.
Slot | Attachment |
Muzzle | Muzzle Booster |
Front Rail | Tactical |
Optics | Reflex |
Magazine | Fast Mag |
Stock | Lightweight |
Having these attachments not only makes you super mobile around the map but allows you to deliver a tad more firepower to your enemies. Although this setup will significantly reduce your accuracy, the ACR 6.8's excessive damage more than makes up for the diminished control.

Best MP7 Loadout and Attachments
Now we head over to one of the lighter guns on the list, the MP7, which is an SMG that boasts high mobility and rapid fire rate in exchange for lesser firepower than your standard Assault Rifles. This SMG is very useful in close-range maps like Arena.
Slot | Attachment |
Muzzle | Barrel Extender |
Front Rail | Superlight |
Magazine | Quick Mag |
Rear Grip | Quick Draw Grip |
Stock | Collapsed Stock |
With the loadout above, you'll be able to move in and out of gunfights easily, as these attachments further improve your movement and aim-down sights (ADS) speed. I highly recommend you use this in tandem with the Digital Ghillie Suit skill from the Echelon Faction, as this combo can catch many of your enemies by surprise. You can also use this loadout in conjunction with other XDefiant factions and abilities.
Best TAC-50 Loadout and Attachments in XDefiant
Sniper sweats (or try-hards) are going to have a great time with the TAC-50 despite Xdefiant's efforts to push sniping harder compared to Call of Duty. However, the TAC-50 is the closest sniper rifle you can get to CoD's sniping mechanics — killing enemies with a single body hit.
Slot | Attachment |
Barrel | Lightweight |
Optics | Sniper Scope (12x) / CQBSS (8x) |
Magazine | Quick Mag |
Rear Grip | Quick Draw Grip |
Stock | Padded Stock |
As a sniper, your main goal is to move from cover to cover while trying to keep your efficiency by providing a constant threat to your enemies with your one-shot kill potential. In order to do this, you'll need to improve your ADS and mobility with the TAC-50, and these attachments aim to do so.
