Best N/R Festival Decks – YuGiOh Master Duel

Megalith is limited and is still so strong!

The limited time event has many fan favorite decks back in the limelight. YuGiOh Master Duel has been delivering new events to challenge its players to duel using specific formats to earn gems. With the limitation of only using Rarity N and R cards, many OTK (one turn knock out) decks are invalid. Players are free to use the archetype of their choosing but here are the decks that are winning quickly, and consistently.

Kaiju - Danger - Mekk - Graydle

These decks focus on using extremely powerful monsters that can be Special Summoned in a single turn to remove monsters from the opponent's side of the field. Using Mekk Monsters in tandem with Kaiju Monsters, players can clear the board easily while also using the Cobra Graydle to take control of any Kaiju Monsters given to the opponent. Danger cards can be Special Summoned or thrown in the Graveyard to then be retrieved with World Legacy's Secret. With powerful XYZs, players have plenty of board control, monster removal, and immunity to being targeted by card effects.

True Draco - Tenyi

True Draco and Tenyi decks use Continuous Spells and Traps to Tribute Summon True Draco Monsters while using Tenyi Monsters to thin out the Deck further. Tenyi Monsters can also be used for Link and XYZ Summoning, as well as for their own effects but the primary focus is on True Draco. Each Continuous Spell and Trap have effects to get rid of the opponent's Spell and Trap cards as well as their Monsters whenever they are sent to the Graveyard. They also have Special Summoning and Drawing effects, making it easy to get the resources required as fast as possible.

Gadget - Infinitrack

Gadgets and Infinitrack Monsters are all Earth Monsters apart from Silver and Gold Gadget. Using Infinitrack Harvester and either Heavy Freight Train Derricrane or Super Express Bullet Train, players can summon Number 77: The Seven Sins. This can remove all of the opponent's Special Summoned Monsters. Infinitrack Anchor Drill can be used with any of the Gadget cards to summon Number 97: Draglubion, which can then summon additional XYZ Monsters like Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon to get rid of all of the opponent's Set or Normal and Special Summoned during their End Phase.

Other Notable Decks

Metalfoes can be used to great effect with reliable Pendulum Summoning and Fusion Summoning. They are strong Monsters that can have OTK potential under the right circumstances.

Ghostricks are a niche milling and Direct Attack deck depending on how it's built. With Ghostrick Museum and Ghostrick Witch and Doll, opponent's Monsters can be locked in Face Down Defense position.

Megalith decks have the strongest OTK potential and are relatively easy to acquire from Solo Mode. Megalith Phaleg and Bethor are the main threats and can destroy cards quickly and reliably.
