Can you respec Health and Stamina in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK) – Answered

Respec Link's Health and Stamina.

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Link must collect Lights of Blessing to get Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels again. While I've always enjoyed the shrines in these games, I find it hard to commit to either a Heart or Stamina when upgrading. Luckily, you can respec your Hearts and Stamina alignment in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Here is how to do so.

While we recommend choosing Stamina over Hearts initially, it is a critical choice you may want to change later. After you have completed one of the four Temples, a new path will open in the Lookout Landing Bunker (coordinates -0254, 0107, 0008). This is a back entrance to the Royal Hidden Passageway.

By talking to Jerrin at the entrance, you can commence the Who Goes There? Side adventure that will have you explore the passageway. The evil statue is located past the first cracked rocks that you will need to destroy. Then, take a right through more cracked rocks to find the horned statue.

From this point onward, you can talk to the horned statue at any time to trade either a Heart Container or Stamina Vessel for 100 Rupees, converting it into Essence that the statue will hold onto. You can then repurchase the Essence as a Heart Container or Stamina Vessel for 120 Rupees. The total cost is 20 Rupees to swap your hearts and containers, which isn't many Rupees in my experience. You may want to use this statue to increase your stamina to obtain the Master Sword.
