How to farm Arrows in Zelda TotK (Tears of the Kingdom)

Can't use a bow without arrows.

I love the archery in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. I climb to high ground, line up my shots, and snipe enemies in nearly every encounter. But one problem I always run into is running out of arrows (looking at you, Gloom Hands!). As a result, I am constantly hunting for arrows, and I'm sure others are, too. So, I'm here to tell you how to fully stock your arrow supply in TotK!

Where to farm Arrows in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom - Tips and Tricks

Farm Arrows from Enemies in TotK

The best way to farm arrows is by battling enemies with bows, dodging their shots, and collecting the spent arrows from the ground. It takes time, but you can effectively farm as many arrows as you want. You can stand behind the cover, just out of range, or run in circles as long as you dodge the arrows. Of course, not every arrow will be collectible, but this allows you to get arrows for free.

I recommend finding a Bokoblin nest and defeating all the melee enemies. Leave the ranged enemies alive, and start gathering arrows. This works best on enemies on platforms, as they will not climb down to chase you. You can stand behind cover or just out of range and watch as the Bokoblin foolishly shoots arrow after arrow at you. Or, you can use a wooden shield, block the arrow, and put away the shield to collect arrows stuck in the shield.

Destroy Crates and Barrels in TotK

Crates and barrels often have various items inside, and these can sometimes be arrows. Use Ultrahand to lift these high and drop them on the ground to break them. This saves your weapon's durability and can reward you with free arrows. You can also scan amiibo to spawn chests, crates, and barrels when in a pinch.

Buy them from shops in TotK

Arrows can be found throughout Hyrule from traveling and stationary merchants. This is a guaranteed way to get more arrows in Tears of the Kingdom. Make sure you have enough Rupees on hand, though, as they can be costly.

Where can you buy Arrows in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

Many of the merchants and shops around Hyrule carry arrows. They typically sell single arrows or bundles of arrows. However, they have a limited supply and can be expensive. Therefore, we only recommend buying them when you have to. Arrows are one of the best items to farm because of the new Fuse ability, allowing you to handle any situation.

Can you craft Arrows in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

You cannot craft arrows in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. This is the number one thing I want to craft, but sadly, Nintendo did not give Link this power. However, there are ways to get arrows to spawn. You can scan amiibo to have barrels, crates, and chests appear. These occasionally have arrows in them. Another way is to help Addison upkeep the President Hudson signs, as this can also reward you with arrows.
